Within 5 minutes of walking into the party you see Jaden sitting across the room with a different girl in his lap. Even though you told yourself you weren't coming to see him, you were prepared to see him like that. You grabbed 2 shots off a tray being carried around but made eye contact with Nick who was heading directly towards you. You turned to warn Charli and hand her a shot but saw her already disappearing into the crowd. You shook your head and told yourself to get a grip chugging both drinks. There was literally nothing shocking about that sight. It was Jaden, what could you expect. You didn't want to hook up with Jaden again, but it would have made you feel better if he'd at least tried. After all he had invited you.

You start to feel guilty and try to call Josh and it went straight to voicemail. You told yourself he was probably busy with his ex. You sighed in frustration and reached to put your phone away. Suddenly you feel someone grab your wrist and spin you around. You spun and came face to face with VINNIE!

He grabbed the phone from your hand and saw your lock screen and looked furious as you tried and failed to yank your arm away: "This isn't even the dude you posted on your snapchat a few weeks ago. You really are a hoe."
You: "Get your hands off of me and don't call me that!"
Vinnie: "Who the hell is this?"
You: "None of your business Vinnie, I blocked you for a reason!"
Vinnie: "So THAT'S why you haven't been answering me? Who the hell do you think you are?"
You: "Vinnie, stop. You're hurting me!!"
Jaden rushes over when he hears you yelling and sees the commotion: "Let go of her, man."
Vinnie looked up to see Nick, Bryce, and a few more frat boys approaching him and threw your phone on the ground, smashing it. He shoved you back declaring: "You're not even worth this."
Jaden shoved hit Vinnie in the jaw, and Vinnie backed up and nodded at you in a way that made it clear you'd pay for this and then disappeared out the front door.
Jaden: *helping you up* "Are you ok? Are you hurt?"

You: *examining your shattered screen* "No, just shaken. Wish I could say the same for my phone."
Jaden led you into a quiet room towards the back and asked you again: "Are you sure? Was that your ex?"
You: *grabbing a bottle and chugging in frustration* "Yeah. He apparently isn't happy with my choice in men."
Jaden: "Me?"
You: "No offense but I've talked to you twice in 2 months. I've moved on."
Jaden: "Ouch, so you have a boyfriend? What does he think of you getting drunk at a party alone?"
You: *flashing your broken phone* "Not exactly and who knows I can't exactly call him and ask now can I?"
Jaden: "So no boyfriend. And you came to a party to see me. I'd say tonight might not be a total loss afterall."
You: *starting to feel the room spin* "I didn't come to see you! I came to ha-"
Before you could finish your sentence the music became foggy and your vision turned black.
