Class got out early, so Charli was excited to get back to her room and take a nap before Jaden picked her up for the party at Beta Gamma. It was his turn again to handle set up and clean up. Josh had dropped rushing for the frat, but Jaden was still joining. She wasn't surprised... he had frat boy written all over him.
She started to wonder if she was making a mistake getting so attached to Jaden. She kept trying to convince him they were just friends, but she wasn't so sure he believed it. Maybe she would change her mind, but until she did she didn't want him to get his hopes up.
When she walked into her room, her roommate was passed out in bed. She was supposed to have been in a class, but Charli didn't have the heart to wake her. She'd seemed so stressed lately. She pulled her jeans off and started digging through the closet for her comfy pajama pants and then gave up and decided to sleep in just her underwear.
She turned back around and jumped when she saw a strange boy sitting on her bed buried in his phone with earbuds in. Charli pulled his earbud out and grilled him: "Who the hell are you and why are you in my room?"

Chase: "Sorry. I didn't hear anyone come in over my headphones."
Charli: "I'm more worried about who the hell you are and why the hell you're in my room."
Chase: "But not at all worried about the fact that you're yelling at me in your underwear?"
Charli suddenly remembered she wasn't wearing pants and pulled her jeans back on as she waited impatiently for an answer.
Chase: "I'm visiting Sleeping Beauty over there. I'm her best friend, Chase."
Charli: "Oh my God. I'm sorry. She never told me you were coming. I promise I'm not usually this bitchy. That explains why she skipped class."
Chase: "We were just talking and I got a phone call and by the time I hung up, I looked over and she was passed out asleep. She's really worried about tomorrow so I figured she needed the rest."
*END CHARLI'S POV*
*CHASE'S POV*
Charli: "What was today?"
Chase: "She promised me she was going to tell you guys-"
Before he can explain, Josh walks in and is equally as shocked to find a boy in their room: "Who's the dude?"
Charli: "He's your girlfriend's guest, not mine.'
Chase: "You must be Josh... it's good to finally meet you. I'm Chase."
Josh: "Her high school friend? I didn't know you were coming to visit?"
Charli: "That makes 2 of us."
She starts to wake up and is still slightly disoriented when Josh begins to grill her: "Don't you think you should have told me you had some guy coming to visit you? Where is he staying? I hope not here?"
Chase starts to get defensive and sneers at Josh, putting him in his place: "She had court today and I flew out to be with her. So instead of being mad at her, or even me... maybe you should ask yourself WHERE WERE YOU?"
