*STILL JOSH'S POV*

He knocked on the door, and by the look on Jaden's face he was surprised to see him:
"Where is she?"

Not knowing how to respond, he answered:
"I don't think that's any of your business anymore, dude."

He wouldn't take no for an answer and pushed his way past Jaden and into the room. There was no sign of her anywhere until he saw her shoes sitting at the foot of his bed:
"I know she's here and I will make a scene room to room until I find her."

Jaden: "Bro, she's moved on..."

Josh: "Do you think I care? No matter what claim you think you have on her she's going to be my wife and that will always mean more."

She was cowering in the bathroom, where she'd been hiding since she heard Josh bang on the door. When she heard his speech she couldn't help but open the door and step into the room. Josh turned to look at her in shock.

*JADEN'S POV*

Josh looked like he'd been sucker punched and suddenly he realized why. She was standing in his bedroom wearing nothing but his t-shirt. Josh didn't say a word and turned to jump on him. He had him pinned to the ground choking him as she tried to pull him off. Josh pushed her away and it made her fall to the ground. Josh immediately stopped and turned to her but felt helpless to control his emotions anymore and sat down and buried his face in his hands.

Jaden: "I know what this looks like, but we didn't do what you think we did. She's wearing my shirt for pajamas because I offered to let her crash here for the night because she didn't want to face Charli or you...but just as friends."

Josh: "I saw you kiss her on the porch

Josh: "I saw you kiss her on the porch."

Jaden: "C'mon man that was all an act to prove she was over you."

Josh: "And after you went inside?"

Jaden: "We got up here and kissed again and realized how ridiculous it was. She stopped it before anything else happened."

Josh stood up and helped him stand as well. He didn't know how to process any of this all he knew for sure was he loved her enough to not care about anything else.

She broke the silence by asking in a soft, nervous tone:
"You still want to marry me?"

*END JADEN'S POV*

Josh: "There's nothing I want more."

You: "Except having a family..."

Josh: "More than even that."

You: "You say that now, but in a few years when it actually comes up you won't want to actually marry me because this will always be between us."

Josh: "What do you mean in a few years? I would marry you today if you'd have me. Hell, I'd have married you in Canada months ago if you'd agreed."

You: "I don't understand what you're saying."

Josh: "I'm not saying... I'm asking. Will you marry me?"

You can't help but jump into his arms and get lost in the kiss you thought you'd never feel again. As Josh slowly lowers you to the ground, Jaden coughs and smiles at you two as you pull apart. You feel awful for a second because you don't want to hurt Jaden, but to your surprise he laughs and says:
"So a wedding? How soon will I need a date?"

Josh: "Let's go right now. We are a few hours from Vegas. We could get married tonight."

You're still in a state of shock and it sounds like the words are coming from outside yourself when you say:
"Yes!"

Josh: "Sorry J, I think we both know there's something here you want to fix. Maybe by the time we get home you can have that date lined up."
