"Hi I'm Athena Brown I got a call saying my daughter was in this hospital" she said to the nurse at the front desk.
"What is your daughter's name" the nurse asked her
"Annalise Brown" Athena said, I watch as Athena nervously fiddles with her fingers, We wait anxiously for the nurse to give us the room number, and I can feel the tension in the air thickening with each passing moment.
"She's in room 243" she said and we ran to the room once we walked in my heart literally broke into a million pieces.
My heart sinks at the sight of Annalise with a black eye and a cast on her arm.. Athena immediately started crying at the sight of her daughter.
"Mommy" Annalise said starting to cry
"I'm sorry I wasn't there" she said hugging her
"No I should have listened to Lelani" Annalise said
