"What" I said said in shock
"You met us once before" he said referring to him and Elias
"You were 6 years old at the time you probably don't remember because you were getting your ass kicked by your foster parents." He added chuckling
"She was the little girl in the house" Elias said and Stefan nodded
Elias POV
"Why are we here? We're not supposed to be in neighborhoods like this." I said
"Will you stop bitchin, nobody's gonna mess with us here. I own this whole block" Stefan said as we walked up to a house
"Your racist ass owns a block in a black neighborhood...why?" I asked
"They sell my drugs" he said knocking on the door and I shook my head
When the door creaks open, a black man, clearly high, ushers us in without a word. Upstairs, chaos reigns, with the sound of a kid screaming echoing through the house.
"Stefan man I don't have your money right now, but I'll have it soon man" the man said becoming fidgety
"Babe you know this little bitch had the nerve to try to-" the lady stopped talking once she saw us. The woman also high, comes downstairs, scratching her arm in a nervous frenzy. It's a disturbing scene, and I can't help but feel uneasy about what we've walked into.
"Can I use your restroom" I asked
"Upstairs first door on the right" she said pointing upstairs
Once I got upstairs I used this time to scope out the house. As I move through the house, I notice the mess and the smell of pee. As I approach the back, I hear faint crying, and when I open the door, I find a little girl curled up, crying. She looks at me fearfully and retreats to the corner. I reassure her, letting her know I'm not here to hurt her.
"Are you hurt?" I asked her and she nods her head slowly
"Where are you hurt" I asked her
