Knock Knock

I opened the door and Elias was standing at the door.

"Hey is everything ok" I asked surprised to see him

"We need to talk" he said, My heart pounds as I watch Elias stride into the house accompanied by his intimidating bodyguards.

He rarely stopped by the house, Especially with all his guards with him. I feel a knot form in my stomach as they barge through our house, their eyes scanning every corner with an unsettling intensity.

"What's going on?" I asked, trying to remain composed

"Where is my son" he asked me calmly and my heart dropped

"Elias I-"

"The next words out of your mouth better be the truth" he said pulling out his gun

"Elias I don't know" I said

"Remember when I told you every action my son makes is a reflection you..I know you saw him before he went out of the country. And don't give me that he's out on business bullshit, because I know your lying. Now your gonna tell me where he is" he said calmly

"Elias I did see him...but he never told me where he was going or what he was doing, I just made the excuse because I didn't want you to know we weren't seeing eye to eye." I said

"I wanna believe you....but you just proved to me that you can't be trusted...take her" he said and his guards grabbed me and put a bag over my head.

It felt like I was sitting in this chair for hours, but it had only been a few minutes. Even with this bag over my head you could still feel the tension in the room, it didn't help that I could hear Elias footsteps as he was pacing back and forth. The first thing I notice in the room was the constant ticking of the clock. Alfonzo finally took the bag off of my head and the first thing I noticed was Elias guards standing by the door waiting on his command. I sat quietly tied to the chair praying that all this would be over.

"You know I'm very disappointed in you...I thought you were different. But I guess Roscoe was right" he said sharpening his knife

"Roscoe?..w-what does Roscoe have to do with this?" I asked nervously

"He's part of the reason you're here, you owed him money, he owed me money. He died and you lived but you will soon be joining him." he said

"Elias please I've told you everything I know" I said

"I want to believe you...but I don't. I thought you were smart enough to know not to steal from me. I expected more from you, you were a dead woman walking but I spared you. I thought you could be valuable to this family. But I was wrong." He said putting the knife to my throat
