~Somewhere in the forests just outside of town.

Renard and his men arrive at their temporary camp set up with a large group of tents, and enough men to raid a city.

Renards second in command notices his arrival and follows him back to the largest tent in camp.

"Well? How did it go?"

Renard simply scoffed before going over the maps that were laid out on the table inside. Looking over the different markings and territories that they had found so far.

"The towns folk are...reluctant to take our help..." He spoke softly before looking over the worn papers.

"Hmph, well that hasn't stopped us before now has it? Should we persuade them like we've done with the other towns and villages? This one is not that large im sure six dogs would be enough to convince them

I held up my hand to silence my second in command, before taking a seat at the table.

"How long has it been Travis, since that day..."

His brows furrowed as he watched me mull over the plans we had made.

"I'm sorry?"

Renard looked up at the man before him, 17 years they had worked on this project, 17 years they built up their clan from the ground up, against all odds they survived against men and monsters alike. The world was full of savages and did not show any mercy to the weak. The weak died and the strong survived, this was the rule of the world, that's why we were here, to ensure the survival of the human race. If we do not get rid of the monsters who lurk in the dark, picking off people one by one, then the creatures would eventually grow bold enough to destroy entire villages, we already know what they are capable of, if no one else kills the beasts then they will take over, and humans will become little more than slaves or worse, Cattle.

I glared at the territory boarders that we're marked on the map before me. How dare these creatures claim territory and land, as if they own the ground, the forests and rivers. They were nothing more than monsters they deserve nothing but death.

And I will be the one who makes sure every last pack is wiped from existence, the only beasts that will be left will be the tamed dogs under my boot. Sighing I leaned back in my seat as Travis stood across the table from me.

Many towns and villages think of us to be as bad as bandits...that or they fear what might happen if they accept our...services... The fools don't realize how much of a threat these creatures pose, and if someone doesn't do something about them now, then they will only continue to breed uncontrollably, next they will take our villages, towns, city's even...after that? Who knows what horrors await us...they are not meant to be in this world they are unnatural, and we are the cure for this disaster we will create balance and peace...

But that girl...she had silver eyes...a trait so rare that most do not know of it...such a shame, she would have made an excellent hunter...

'travis, you remember what happend 14 years ago correct?"

He thought for a moment and glanced at the tents entrance. "14 years ago was the fall of the silver clan?"

"Correct...."

He looked at me questioningly before speaking up again. "Did something happen in that town?"

Humming I stood up out of my chair and walked over to the closed off space in the back of the tent. Pushing the curtain to the side he followed me in.

"There was a survivor..."

He nearly stopped in his tracks. "That's impossible, they were wiped out by the beasts!

"There was a young girl at the heads house...she had silver eyes...just like theirs...she even tried asking about the beasts...but her guardian, got protective and pushed her inside..."

"...what do you want us to do?"

"Get some of the men ready for recovery and set up four cages near the forest edges..."

"Only four? They will be killed by the villagers..."

Smileing I walked over to a cage that had a tarp over it, and I can hear the creature inside of it snarling, it was aware of our presence already.

"Your going to use that one?!" Travis was cut off by a loud snarl that resonated throughout our camp.

"My dear friend, there's no point in keeping a weapon if you never plan to use it..." Pulling the tarp off of the cage I was faced with the glowing yellow eyes of the beast inside as it lunged at the bars, it's claws ready to rip out my throat, but I could only smile down at the beast.

"The only way we will ever tame such a wild animal, is if we break it..."
