I watched from the small barred window as renard confronted alpha Thomas and them. Anxiety was creeping through my body as I watched all the hunters getting ready for a fight Damien told me they would be coming but this isn't how I thought it would go. I've been here long enough to know renard isn't going to cooperate with them, he wants the entire pack dead and that's exactly what he is going to try and do, there were no negotiations only eradication.

That's why all of this started in the first place, the silver clan no longer wished to fight endlessly, they didn't want to be at war constantly with the werewolves, times were changing and the existence of the supernatural became quiet, that also meant clans were also slowly dwindling, no longer needed as much as before. So they began to adapt... People focused more on their community and families instead of hunting... But not everyone is okay with change, he's the perfect example of that...

Renard will not stop until he is satisfied and has wiped out all of the werewolves... No matter how many innocent lives are lost or who gets hurt...for him, coexistence is impossible...

I looked back at Damien. "They are trying to negotiate with him!? He would never listen, He's more inclined to just shoot them! Was this part of the plan!?"

His ears twitched as he sat there waiting. 'You worry too much, they can handle themselves for now...'

My gaze went back to the scene outside, how can I not worry... "Damien, what are we supposed to do? We can't just sit here!"

The rattling of the door hinges grabbed our attention, and I quickly jumped down ready for a fight. Damien stood beside me, tense and soon enough the door opened revealing three very familiar figures.

"Well now, are you love birds ready to get the heck out of here or stand there all day?"

Irene Keith and amber were all standing at the entrance with the door's lock melted into nothing more than molten iron. So many emotions flooded me as I saw my friends. It may not have been very long but I still missed them.

I ran over hugging amber, this seemed to startle her for a moment but she merely giggled and hugged me back. "I missed you too sera!"

"You are always getting into trouble it seems..." Irene smiled crossing her arms.

Keith rolled his eyes and pat my head. "Yeah yeah, good ole happy reunion but let's not stand out here in the open okay?"

"How did you guys even get into the camp?! There's guards all over the place!"

"Ah, it's nothing a little magic can't help with..." Irene shrugged.

I pulled away looking at amber and I couldn't help but tear up some. I hurt Henry and it means I also hurt her...now that im bonded with Damien I can only imagine how horrible it feels to know your mate is hurt or knowing their lives are on the line... Her smile faded into worry as I started ranting on about everything.

"Amber, Henry...he, he's hurt bad... it's all my fault I should have listened to him and just cooperated but he got shot and I thought he was dead but he's alive and im afraid of what renard has done to him or what he might do! I didn't mean for any of this to happen I just-" I was cut off as she pulled me into a hug.

"I know...It's okay sera, he knew the risks, if I were in his shoes I would have done that same, we wouldnt just leave you here...we couldn't... you're our friend after all... So stop crying... We are getting both of you out of here..." Amber gave me a small smile. In turn, I nodded and wiped my tears determined. Now wasn't the time, we needed to save Henry...
