At that moment my mind just froze...i couldn't function let alone register what was just said. I hadn't even noticed that Damien stopped walking and was growling.

Thomas quickly stepped up to defend miss Kathryn as she stepped away. "Calm yourself! We mean no ill intentions..." this time he was growling back with a glare. But neither Thomas nor Damien was backing down, making the situation, even tenser.

"Damien I wouldn't suggest it so blatantly if I didn't think this was serious!..." Kathryn looked at me worried as I sat there frozen. I have to do what?! "Seraphina...the mate bond is powerful...it affects anyone who has it...we can't control how we feel towards others when it comes to it...however with your lineage, your clan has hated werewolves for generations... it's in your blood...this is causing conflict within your head...i know you've felt it...you don't show it often but I've seen it...in your eyes...you'll flinch away from us or keep yourself to turning your back to anyone close by...today is proof of this...your hunter blood is telling you that you don't belong here while your mate bond is keeping you in check...being with Damien helps to suppress your hunter instincts but it's not always going to be enough...just like how it made you lash out..."

That's what's wrong with me?... All these headaches and mixed feelings are because of my hunter blood and this crazy werewolf bond?!

Damien barked at them before turning in another direction to walk. "Damien?!" I looked at him to see the annoyed look on his face.

"Hey! You can't just run off with her!" Amber ran and jumped in front of him with her arms up, glaring angrily. In turn, Damien snarled at her, causing Henry to jump in front in his wolf form to growl back at Damien. Things were getting heated and I didn't even get a chance to calm down and think about what Kathryn had said.

I could feel Damien's shoulders move and I watched as Henry yelped before he started to shift out of his wolf form. I quickly realized why and jumped off Damien. "Stop it!"

He looked at me with a small growl before shifting as well. Henry fell to his knees still in front of amber and she tried to help him up.

Once Damien shifted to his human form I had to step back as he stared down at me with a cold expression before looking back at Henry and amber. Henry groaned and amber quickly became furious glaring at the offending lycan.

"How dare you force him to shift!" She shouted before taking a few steps towards him. Damien only growled more at her until Henry jumped up and mimiced the act back at him.

Damien scoffed before grabbing my arm. "We leave." I didn't even get a chance to open my mouth to protest before he started walking again. Amber stopped him once more snarling.

"Move Out of way!" Damien's voice was demanding and strained.

"I'm not going to stand by and let you just take off with her!" Amber growled back, earning a threatening step from him.

"Damien stop it! They are our friends!" I grabbed his arm to hold him back but he barely budged, how was this man so strong?! Head like a statue made of stone!

"Keep your female in line..." Damien growled at Henry earning a snarl.

"The fuck is your problem!"

"Damien!" I used all my strength to hold Damien back as he became more agitated but it seemed almost futile with his strength.

"Everyone calm down! There's no reason for us to fight!" Thomas and Kathryn came over.

"Damien...you know winter is coming...you two have no food or shelter...you can't keep miss Seraphina out there in the cold she wouldn't survive...please just stay with us until spring... You'll both have food, shelter, and protection...it wouldn't be safe to leave now..." Thomas tried to reason.
