~~~~3 days after the wolves went after Damien.~~~~
"You're telling me that not only is the pendant not working but three wolves couldn't retrieve the injured lycan?!" I shouted knocking everything off of my desk. I glared at my second hand in anger as he kneeled before me.
"I don't know what happened... But from what I can tell the girl it took with it is still alive...and it's...protecting her...
My anger quickly sizzled down as I turned and looked at the empty cage behind me. " she's alive...even after we ordered it to kill her?..."
"Yes...it appears to be that way..."
I sighed before straightening my posture. "Lycans are powerful indeed, even against a black witch's magic charms..." The beast was so close to finally breaking...i shouldn't have used it in the tiny village, had I waited and trained it for a few more days it would have become another obedient dog just like the rest...and this girl...young Seraphina was proving to be a pain in my side...
"Summon the witch..."
"But sir..."
"Do not question me...im in a foul mood today...just bring her!"
"Yes sir..."
~two days later~
I sat at my desk looking over one of my silver knives, one that was specially used to break in the dogs...it was amazing something like silver could be a werewolf's biggest weakness...it burns them like acid almost...
Sighing I set the blade down and leaned back in my chair closing my eyes. Such insufferable creatures plagued the world...breeding and taking over like rats...
This area was well isolated and easy to hide in but once I perfect my work, I'll be able to eradicate them from here...then I will move to the next state...then the next until they are nearly extinct...
A small gust of wind traveled through the tent and I could feel the tip of my blade now pressed against my throat. The familiar voice of a woman spoke in my ear and I opened my eyes. "I see you've lost the lycan I gave you... Again."
A woman now sat before me on my desk, her long white hair was braided off to the side and her crimson red eyes showing the demon inside of her...she always wore a black dress that hugged her body tightly. A large claw mark marred her face over one of her eyes, she hated the foul creatures as much as I did but her powers were suppressed she couldn't just snap her fingers and curse them all, even though I knew she wanted to...
"I have not lost it yet....it still wears the charm you enchanted...besides it's not my fault your magic isn't strong enough to control the beast..."
Her eye twitched as I struck a nerve. "I'm the most powerful which on the continent!"
I moved the blade from my neck with the back of my hand as she glared at me. "Can you truly call yourself a witch with that demon inside of you?...
" if all you want is to mock me then im leaving!" Standing to her feet she walked around the desk and towards the tent entrance.
"Wait Izetta..." I sighed closing my eyes while pinching my nose. "I want your aid in recapturing the beast...and... Getting rid of a girl..."
She stopped and glanced back at me over her shoulder I apparently piqued her interest...
"Yes...the lycan ended up kidnapping a girl from her village and has been protecting her... She also happens to be from a hunter clan...":
" oh? Now that sounds interesting... A lycan protecting a mortal enemy... This sounds like fun..."
~~~~~a few days later~~~~~

I watched as izetta stared at the small mirror before her in deep thought. All I could see was a swirling mixture of color on its surface but she...she could see anything the pendant saw...

She could see the cabin they were in...she could see the young huntress who was caring for the lycan and his wounds. She even attempted to use the pendant to take over its mind and kill the girl... But of course... Again she escaped...

Something grabbed izettas attention as she stopped.

"What is it?" I spoke up. She turned her twisted smirk towards me.

"It seems there's someone else living in those woods..." I furrowed my brows confused by the mention of another being, being in that area.

"And?"

"And I have an idea..." She stood up and looked around my tent. Going to my ammo stock she grabbed a few shells. I watched as she chanted quietly and they became cursed.

"I want that lycan alive izetta!" She scoffed before looking at me.

"You'll get your lycan...these aren't for him...they are for her..."

The girl? What do you plan on doing?

"Well... You want her dead...our little friend out in the forest is going to kill her... If even a single pellet comes in contact with her I can poison her mind..." She stepped over to me and held out her hand." Give me the pendant..."

"Why?..." Pulling it out of my coat I handed it to her.

"Because the wolf is the quickest way to the girl..."

"Why go through the trouble of using someone else to kill her your perfectly capable of such..." Her smile turned to an annoyed glare.

"The last lycan hunted me down...he nearly clawed out my eye and tore me apart if this girl is important to this one im not going to get my hands dirty and risk my life again!" Standing up I walked around my desk to face her. Grabbing her chin with my hand to make her face me.

"You realize you have an entire clan of hunters here to protect you..." She scoffed again before looking at me lazily.

"Try as you may, to break that beast and make it your pet but lycans are not to be messed with...the only reason you are able to partially control it now is because of that pendant... it's weaker and my spell can mess with its head...but creatures like that grow a resistance to magic over time..."

Letting go of her I stepped back smiling. "Well ill just have to break the beast before it does..."

Holding the pendant in one hand she smiled back at me wickedly as smoke appeared around her. "I'd like to see that..."

Then she disappeared.
