Weird Dream!

Hey guppies!

So I had a weird dream and it involved my new tail.

It started out with a planned forced marriage that neither party wanted aside from my parents and the parents of the girl who I was "betrothed" to. It was weird. In the dream I'd never met the girl and I was adamant on finding a way to stop the wedding.

Eventually the girl showed up and she looked like one of my friends in real life, who's really beautiful. She looked so uncomfortable and I knew I had to stop the forced marriage because I didn't want her to suffer. I walked over to her and told her that our situation sucks, and I didn't want this either. She smiled weakly and said she was glad she wasn't the only one. We spoke for a while but eventually I left because I was getting a headache and needed some water. Salt water.

It was a beach wedding, and everyone was staying in a few beachfront villas that had been hired out for the event. I ran to the ocean and went for a swim to clear my head, and decided to transform into my tiger shark mer form.

My betrothed apparently had the same idea of going for a swim, and she saw me while she was wading in the shallows. I was about 100 meters from shore but my head was above water and she recognised me and called my name.

We were both shocked, and in that surprise I turned back into a human. When I went up to her, she wasn't scared, or even confused. She just said, "That explains the beach wedding...I don't even like the beach. It was just so I could clear my head..." I told her that I didn't want the wedding to go ahead, but perhaps in better circumstances, I would be willing to have a relationship. We had gotten along pretty well at the villa after all. She agreed with me.

"I don't feel ready for a relationship yet because I don't feel like I'm in the right headspace. And my previous partner treated me and acted poorly. Perhaps remaining friends for now, then moving forward when I'm ready is the best solution for now," she said.

"That's perfectly fine with me. Your previous partner was missing out. You're breathtakingly gorgeous, and don't deserve to be treated poorly. You've a beautiful spirit. Kind. I look forward to any form of relationship with you," I said. And as soon as I said that, we stood up and walked back to the villa to call off the wedding.

Once the wedding was called off, we ran back to the beach. I dove into the water and transformed again. I waved goodbye, then swam off, returning hours later to an empty beach.

The conversations that were had in paragraphs 6 and 7 were had between aforementioned friend and I. Pretty weird dream but I feel like it was telling me something.

Maybe I'll analyse it later on, maybe I won't. It was just relating to my shifting so I figured I'd write it down.

Anyway thanks for reading, that's all for now!

Keep swimming,

Magnus~
