Sin's POV

I carried her in my arms, kicking the door of her room which was slightly ajar.

Mattheo and Luca reached out to us after she ran off to save her friend. The state they both came in to inform us, especially Mattheo, already indicated the seriousness of the situation.

She was in trouble.

He filled us in on where she ran off to rescue her friend and when I heard where it was, I stood up and immediately made my way to my car.

Leo and Yuri didn't waste time as they were behind me. We got in and told those two to get to the place with a backup van.

In just mere minutes, we reached there and got out of the car as the three of us made our way into the dark alleyway. When we caught sight of a few figures when the cloud cleared, and the moonlight hit on her usual fierce eyes. I knew it was them.

Leo fired up in the air which caught the attention of the bastards in front of us who was manhandling her. She was sitting down on her knees and one of the men who had cheap-looking chains around his neck was holding her arms behind her.

My hands gripped into tight fists seeing the sight in front of me.

We neared them and as those 5 men looked at us, they quivered in fear when they noticed who we were. It's not something new we would be experiencing. It happens almost every time we're out on the hunt for the mafia. But this time, it wasn't for the mafia. It was for her.

My eyes locked with hers and I saw her body weakened, a cut on her lips which told me a fucker had probably raised his hand on her.

Even though, physically she was done for. But her eyes, her brown eyes were fierce as the day I met her. Those same eyes which kept on haunting me where ever I go, whatever I do. They appear and leave me confused.

I didn't look away from her, my eyes still locked with hers as I ordered sternly, "Leave her." And like some magic was done on him, he let go of her instantly.

Leo and Yuri fired off some of their questions to them and that's when we got to know. They were from fucking Charlie's gang.

We were ordered by the mafia to get rid of them and didn't get the perfect opportunity to capture them but now, now was that perfect opportunity.

They fell onto their knees, just behind where she was on the ground trying to catch up her breathing, and begged us to let them live. And I'll let them, but not for long.

Before they could say anything more from their filthy mouths, I was growing irritated plus annoyed by the passing seconds. I raised my arm and fired 5 bullets through each guy's arm.

They cried in pain like a bunch of pussies and Leo, Yuri, and some of our backup aided to get them into the vans and back to our place.

My eyes traveled back to her and I walked over to her, my boots hit the ground making loud noises. I heard Yuri yelling at someone on the call he was with. Probably the Yakuza, they are a pain to his ass and ours too, to be honest. Leo was busy talking with one of our men.

But the whole time I observed these things in my environment as I was trained to, I couldn't help keep my eyes off the girl in front of me. She was most definitely hurt on her leg which made her unable to get up.

Once I stopped in front of her, she turned her face towards me and her brown eyes traveled to mine.

"Someone's hurt," I muttered. There was a teasing tone to my sentence which even made me a bit surprised cause I've never teased anyone ever in my whole life. Her face told me she noticed it as her eyes widened slightly. But I somehow managed to keep my facial features blank.

I reached out my hand to her, she didn't notice it at first cause she kept on staring at me. I pointed my eyes at my hand when she glanced at it and finally, held it. Gripping it tightly in mine, I pulled her up to her feet.

She stopped in front of me, her brown hairs a mess but a nice kind of. I noticed the exhaustion in her eyes before she fell straight on my chest. Her face against my chest. I couldn't help but tense up at this foreign feeling of someone this close to me. I've slept with women but this, this felt different?

She snuggled closer and I could feel her warmth surround my cold body. It seemed as if she was melting the ice around me like Leo and Yuri use to tell me; your ice cold. I always ignored them but since she came into my life, I've been feeling change around me.

"Thank you," she breathed out before her breathing evened, indicating she's already dozed off.

I didn't reply to that, more like I didn't know what to say to someone when they tell you that. So instead, I just wrapped my arm around her.

After all that, here I am now, laying her down on her bed cause she passed out on me there and since then, she hasn't woken up or even stirred in her sleep. But still, I knew she was just deep in her sleep.

She's had a long day today, with the training plus practice I told her to do, she had quite an adventure after that so being exhausted would only be right.

I covered her with the duvet, bending to her level. I glanced at her, she slept so peacefully. My face was so close to hers that I could easily plant my lips with hers. But I know better than that.

I stood straight, backing away from her face and giving her sleeping form one last look, I left her room closing the door behind me.
-----------------

"Here he is, our Lucifer!" Yuri exclaimed as I walked down to our basement. I went into the room where they had already tied the 5 bastards and beaten them up to a pulp.

"We've done our work Sin, it's your turn now," Leo said walking beside me. I nodded at him once as I stared at the men before me, totally wasted. These two did their jobs as usual, perfectly.

"Tell me," I started, the room went quiet. "What did you do with her?" I asked him, my tone threatening that he wouldn't dare not answer me.

"W-which one?" The main guy of theirs who probably was their boss asked. I snap my eyes to him and he quivered in fear. "The one with t-the dagger?" He said again.

I looked at him for him to continue. I had my gun in my hand from which I had shot them before. He glanced at it and gulped before he spoke, "It was more like she beat our asses. If she was even a bit more observant of her surroundings, she wouldn't have gotten caught by us."

I raised my eyebrows, finding this piece of information intriguing but not like I wasn't expecting it from her. Of course, she would've defended herself. She's training under me and after that lesson I gave her, she'll never forget it for the rest of her whole life.

"Who hit her?" I asked yet again. My tone was demanding like before and I noticed a specific guy with a beanie gulp. I guess I got my answer. "It's you isn't it?" I pointed my gun at him, and his eyes widened in fear.

"I-I-" before he could mutter a single word, I put a hole through each of their heads making their body go still.

"I'm out," I announced to Leo and Yuri who wasn't the least fazed by my actions. It's normal for us now. This is our lifestyle after working for the mafia for so long.

I went up the stairs to my room and took off my black coat which hung over my shoulder throwing it aside. I hate how I can't get her out of my head. It's like she's corrupted my already corrupted being but with her flames.

I can't help but feel this fire in me whenever I stare into her fierce eyes. Like they'll burn me up with them. I've never been attracted to someone and for it to be her, it won't turn out to be good.

I don't know what is this growing feeling inside of me, but I can't help but feel a need to protect her. Even though I can't let her near me, cause I've seen her trying to get close and talk to me.

From the few short words I've shared with her over these last few days, it's clear she wants me to loosen up. But little does she know,

I'm a sin that must never be committed.
