Layla's POV

I couldn't sleep the whole night at his place. Thinking he might get in by unlocking the door cause he would surely have the key to every room in this house.

So I didn't get a blink of sleep.

I got out of the room after freshening up past 10 and scanned the living room to find no sign of him. He must still be out.

But I was proven wrong as soon as I felt 2 not so heavy arms snake around my waist making me clench my jaw.

"So you're finally up," he pulled me close to him and I started to feel short of breath by the way he held me. "No, I'm down." I retorted, not having control of my mouth at the moment but he just laughed it off.

"Grumpy aren't you?" He turned me around and I saw the sly look on his face. Well, it's time for action.

I put my arms around his neck and smiled at him, "Just hungry, what do you have to eat?" I asked him acting all sweet. It was making me nauseous

"I have something which could help with your hunger." He smirked and I felt one of his hands linger on my ass and I knew what he meant by that.

I smiled at him and pulled him close to me from where my arms were around his neck, "I'd like a cup of coffee." I lingered a kiss at the edge of his lips and peeled my arms from his neck.

He still seemed fazed by my move and walked in the direction of the kitchen with me by his side.

"I remember back in the days you loved the coffee I made whenever I would sneak into your house." He said while I waited for my coffee to be ready.

Yeah, I loved it not because it tasted incredible but because I used to think about the sentiments behind his action and that he would put in the effort to make me one.

Now we all know about his actual intentions behind everything he did. He put on an act to impress me just cause my father told him to.

"You're wrong on the sneaking in part, my father must've ordered you to do that like everything else." I didn't hesitate to call him out on that and he had a mischievous look on his face.

"Won't deny that." I stretched a smile at his reply and said, "At least you're being honest with me now."

"Well there's nothing to hide between us now is it?" He asked me instead and I paused what I was doing and looked up at him.

"Yeah, there's nothing to hide anymore." I lied to his face and his sly smile made its way to his face while he leaned against the counter.

"Also one more thing, we're going over to my brother's. It's time that I officially introduce you to him." He announced while tucking away a loose strand of my hair and I felt his hand brush against my neck.

"You must've already known that my brother's the leader of the gang the Three Devils are after." He said tilting his head to look at me and I turned towards him with my coffee mug, sipping on it.

"Yeah, I know. Charlie, isn't it?" I asked him like I already didn't have that name memorized in my head. It's to reach him that I'm tolerating you, you little bitch.

"Yeah, Charlie. The only family I got." He said and I sipped my coffee again, smirking.

How sentimental, I wonder how you'll feel if he's ripped apart from you.

"How old is he?" I asked like I'm curious about him and didn't know anything about him.

"He's 21, a year older than me," Seth told me and I nodded sipping my coffee like I'm hearing this for the first time.

"He's not as powerful as those Three Devils but he'll overthrow them and that's why those bitches are jealous and are after him," Seth exclaimed, crossing his arms when he talked about them and I heard what he had to say curiously.

"Especially that Sinn Phoenix, he's not that scary I don't know why the underworld's terrified of him. They're a bunch of pussies." Seth carried on with his rant and I felt like laughing.

Everyone who was there that day when we clashed with Charlie's gang on our way back, could clearly see Seth was intimidated by Sinn.

But I let him say whatever he had cause I'm enjoying this. "But you're brother's pretty impressive, he's been able to get away from those three this whole time."

Seth stared at something in front of him and then smirked, "Well he's my brother, he's not that easy to catch."I finished my coffee and put the mug away.

Well, not anymore 'cause you'll be the one bringing me to him yourself. I searched for something to eat in the kitchen while hiding the smile on my face.

"That's right."
