Layla's POV

I had gone back to my assigned room all worn out.

I laid head first on the soft bed cause my body was worn out from today's training.

I knew Sinn wouldn't go easy on me, but I never knew he would give me such a hard time and that on my first day training with him. Like come on, take it easy but what should I expect from one of The Devils of the Mafia. He's known for his hard ways so I'm pretty much fucked up.

A loud sigh escaped my lips as I rolled back on my back and stared at the ceiling on top. My thoughts were filled with Sinn and his cold stares. Ugh, I don't want to think about him but I can't help it.

He has this mysterious vibe to him that makes me want to discover everything about him. And his attitude doesn't help a bit. I've always seen him guarded, well I mean I get it, but still like Leo and Yuri are much more carefree than him but I guess everyone has their own way.

My eyes wander back to when I first confronted him. His hand snaked around the nape of my neck as his other held my wrist tightly. His very touch lit the fire in my body, burning it up but he was too cold.

It's as if I were Fire and he was Ice. But we all know, Ice would always melt around fire and that's what I'm planning on doing. I want him to loosen up a bit with me cause I can't just keep on training this way with him it's just going to be awkward and hella boring for me.

My eyes started feeling heavy as I could feel sleep take over me, making my thoughts about Sinn wander over.

"So Layla, how was your first day of training with Sinn?" Leo questioned me as we all sat in the living room eating pizza.

I was introduced to the other member who passed the test except Mattheo and me. His name was Luca and his tan skin and the piercing on his lip made him seem attractive. He was a pretty chill guy and wasn't rude towards me like that two blondies were.

"Don't even get me started!" I sighed, exaggerating as I laid my back on the sofa. "Fill us in with the details," Leo chuckled as he sat back, putting his left leg over his right thigh. He was still in his suit but had taken off the coat and had rolled over the sleeve of his white shirt.

"He told me to counter back his attacks and I tried to do so but, he would just flip me over every fucking time like I'm some kind of a pancake he's making." I shook my head as I reminisced the moment he made every joint in my muscle sore.

"Haha, it's only getting started sweetheart. You have a long way ahead." Leo said and I couldn't help but scowl.

"I don't care about the training, I'll have to learn stuff one way or another but like he's so..." I tried to find words to describe him and Leo raised his eyebrow waiting for me to finish. "So?"

I knitted my brows as I continued, "He's such a boring person I mean like he only talks about business that's it. And don't even get me started on the cold stares he passes my way I would just freeze if he keeps on doing that." I blurted out the contents of my heart and Leo looked at me in amusement.

"But you're the total opposite of him." I met his gaze and he seemed as if he was thinking about something. "Yeah, she has always been like this. Acting on her impulse. Don't even get me started." Mattheo rolled his eyes and I smacked his arm.

"Ouch, what was that for?" He said rubbing his arm and I glared at him. "For saying such nonsense about me. When did I act on my impulse huh?" I questioned him and Mattheo raised his brow at me as if saying 'are you serious right now'.
