Layla's POV
After the surprise test we went through the day before, I didn't saw Sinn for the whole day and went to bed quite early.
Now I'm packing one of my bags cause we're heading out for our first ever mission. Finally.
One of their guards informed me that they want us to report downstairs in an hour with our bags packed for about a week or so. So here I am doing as I'm told for the first time.
After I check that I have everything and am not missing anything, I put on my black plain cap and hanging my leather bag over my shoulder, I made my way down the stairs, shutting the door to my room.
I was the last person to report as all of them were already present there and it seemed as if they were waiting for me.
My eyes met with Mattheo's and he looked at me nervously as my eyes then met Sinn's cold ones. "You're late." His sharp voice pierced through my ears which made me flinch as I looked at him. I kept on looking at him without saying a word for a few seconds before Leo thankfully stepped in.
"Anyways, now that you're here I'll dictate a few instructions." He started and I diverted my gaze at him now. I briefly glaned over at Yuri he was texting somebody on his phone, his eyebrow furrowed doing so.
"So, as we told you before, you have to follow your team leaders command at everytime, and if you are seen disobeying any of his instructions, you will be given a penalty for that." He told us.
I glanced at Sinn who was standing leaning against the wall looking stunning as he always did. But today, he looked even more done than before. I don't know whether if it has anything to do with me being late as he seemed kinda pissed of ."Is that clear?" Leo asked. We muttered, "Yes."
"And yes, we have a few people joining us for today's mission."
