Taeyong stood tense as Mrs Jung excitedly jumped and wrapped her arms around him, "You won!" She cheered, both Jaemin and Jisung joining in on the excitement.

This had never happened before for Taeyong, being hugged unexpectedly from excitement. With Doyoung he forbids it because he wants to be professional.

But this joy, this positive energy that just fills him up and makes him also want to jump around with thrill, he's never felt anything like this before and it's this feeling he's been missing out on.

Earlier today, when they announced at the breakfast table that they were all going to play some mini golf only five minutes away down the beach, he was dreading the day.

But now, he's glad he came. He couldn't say no to the two boys face in the first place but he's here to support Jaehyun and reconnect him with his family. He just didn't expect to enjoy it this much as well.

Jaehyun's Aunt, Uncle and grandparents had also come over and welcomed Taeyong and the two boys with open arms, brining small gifts for all of them.

So far, today has just been wonderful.

"Okay everyone, why don't we go and spend the rest of the day at the beach?" Jaehyun asked.

Jaemin looked up and tugged on Jaehyun's swimming trunks, "And get ice cream?"

The taller looked up to Taeyong who smiled and nodded. It's a holiday, they might as well break a few rules since they've been so well behaved.

"Yes, you can have ice cream. But one scoop, I don't want you getting full because you still need to eat dinner." Jaehyun reminded.

Taeyong was impressed, he's fit into the Dad role so well as if he was here from that start. Such growth, such perfection.

"What you thinking about?" Jaehyun's mellow voice cooed, wrapping his arms around from behind, rubbing Tae's tummy while resting his chin on the older's shoulder, "Me?" He guessed with a dimpled grin.

The red head smiled, looking down at the larger hands that gently caressed his tummy before holding them with his small ones and watching the others already making their way to the beach.

"Maybe. Just admiring how perfect you are." He responded, hearing Jaehyun grunt in his ear from disagreeing.

As he went to remark, his eyes caught Jisung running over to the large rocks where the waves crashed, he heart clenched as he started to run and call out to him.

"Jisung!" He yelled for the small boys attention, running down the steps to the beach, "Jisung not the rocks! Jisu-"

The older was cut off by him tripping in a large, unseen hole dug within the sand on the beach.

Taeyong cursed lightly under his breath, gritting his teeth as he sat himself up and felt his ankle, flinching from the pain.

"Taeyong! Are you okay?" Jaehyun asked, running over and looking over his head and body for injuries.

The red head nodded his head before pointing over to Jisung, wavering his finger, "I'm fine I- I just don't want him near those rocks."
