The plane journey was exhausting from the city to the closest airport in Connecticut. For the time in the air, Jisung cried into Taeyong's body from his ears popping due to the pressure change.
Jaemin was unsettled during the ride, not liking the idea of flying, but was mainly unsure since he had never experienced this before.
For the last week building up to their flight, Taeyong had excessively purchased lots of things ready while they were abroad.
Passports had to be made for both the boys which was a stressful process just to get their photos taken.
Luckily, with Taeyong's connections they were made in quick time with no stress on the whole ideal of going abroad for a week.
Taeyong was over the moon, sat in the isle seat with a large smile as the plane was getting ready to land, while Jaehyun sat by the window frowning.
He was uneasy that he had to face his mother after all these years. What will she say? What will he say?
Was this the right decision?
Jaehyun glanced at Taeyong, his red hair was bouncing around all fluffy with a big smile. Reassured, this was the right decision.
As the plane landed, everyone leaving the plane and collecting their suitcases, Jaehyun was faced with a friend he hadn't seen in a long time.
"Taeil?" Jaehyun asked, seeing the small older male with blonde hair smile and reach out his arms.
Jaehyun let goes of Jaemin's hand momentarily before running over and picking up the small male up, spinning him around.
Taeyong smiled at the sight, shaking off the feeling of jealousy. He watched Jaehyun's eyes shine when being reunited with his friend.
"I can't believe it's really you!" He awed before looking at the three stood beside him, smiling and guiding Taeil to them.
"Taeil this is my boyfriend, Taeyong and our two kids; Jaemin and Jisung. Taeyong, this is Taeil an old friend." He introduced.
Taeil bowed before looking up to the taller in shock, "You have kids?!" He exclaimed, looking down at the two boys that had practically wrapped themselves around Jaehyun's legs.
"Hey guys, my name is Taeil. I'm an old friend of your Daddy." He smiled, extending out at hand that Jaemin only stared at, making the older feel awkward.
"He's not as cool as Uncle Mark." Jaemin stated, making Taeil frown. He was fully aware on who Mark was, he was apparently not as cool as a child.
Taeil placed a hand on his chest, still smiling, "Ouch. You really know to hit where it hurts." He laughed, Jisung smiling at the older blonde, "Let's get you guys home."
Jaehyun's smile was erased at those words. Home. It has been far too long since he's ever been able to call it that.
Taeyong noticed the sudden change in Jaehyun's demeanour after the mention of his home. Was it really that bad?
He took the taller's hand in his small one and interlocked their fingers, holding them tight. Jaemin remained by Jaehyun's side while Jisung skipped beside the older blonde, being very curious about him.
