Taeyong had been laying in the sheets, wrapped up in Jaehyun's embrace wide awake from a sleepless night.

The other day he was able to make contact with someone so he could file a case for the court to look at. Now all he had to do was wait for a letter to say if a meeting was set and when.

It had been bothering him about what could happen as a result of this.

Will this finally be solved and over, getting rid of Johnny terrorising his family... or would he lose the boys forever?

The fact that Johnny was alive sent shivers down his spine. He saw him dead, watched him get buried and spent nine months trying to change his lifestyle to look after the two boys.

As Taeyong fell deeper in thought, a dim light that filled the room neutralised any thought, turning his attention to Jaehyun that switched on his lamp before facing him with squinted eyes.

"You're up this early?" He groaned with a tired voice, rubbing his eyes as he adjusted himself up with a pillow behind his back.

Taeyong nodded with a small smile, and it wasn't until the sleep had left the taller's eyes that he saw a faint glimmer in the older's iris.

"Something on your mind?" He whispered, seeing the read head nod. "Is it making you sad?" Taeyong nodded again, turning his face away.

After a moment of silence, Jaehyun opened his arms, "Would you like a hug?"

Releasing a quite sob, Taeyong nodded, turning around to lay on Jaehyun's embrace. His large arms were welcoming, his warm bare skin was comforting, his light breathing and caressing fingertips were soothing.

A concoction made to cure a wallowing heart.

Giving the older some time to calm down, Jaehyun eventually built the courage to ask, "What's been getting you down these past few days?"

At first the red head never responded, but when he looked up to Jaehyun, lips quivering from his thoughts, he knew he shouldn't carry these thoughts alone.

"When I contacted them, the office, to arrange a court for our case, I couldn't help but wonder..."

"... Wonder what?"

Taeyong squeezed his eyes, burying his head into Jaehyun's chest, "That they'll get taken away from us."

A large hand came up, slowly resting on the red hair before it slowly weaved its way through, caressing the head softly.

Jaehyun sighed, "That is a thought... but it doesn't mean it's going to happen."

Things were hard at the moment. Too many things going on at once. With the business needing demands and guidance from Taeyong while they boys looked up to him and Jaehyun, he felt like he was being torn from both sides.

The taller wrapped his arms around Taeyong, feeling his cool tears drip onto his skin and down his elbows.

Taeyong sobbed, drawing every thought that he has suppressed about what the future could possibly intel, whether in the end things would work out for them.
