The both of them soon falling asleep in that position.

Monday, November 1st (same day)

Sophie rushed quickly out the field house, hoping to find Andi standing somewhere near the field house. She looked around and couldn't find anyone around.

Princesa <3

Where are you??

I stayed home today

Is everything ok??

Yea

Ok, enjoy your day off ig

I'll try

Sophie put her phone back in her pocket and made her way to the courtyard, along with the rest of the team. As Sophie walked her way to the cafeteria, she was called out. "Sophie!"
She turned around to see that it was Izzy and Kamryn running towards her.

"What's up?" She asked them.
"Have you heard from Andi?"
"A few minutes ago, why?"
"She's not answering any of our texts. I'm just worried about her."
"Well she stayed home today, so I guess if you wanted to you could go over after school."

"Or you could go." Kam suggested.
"She probably doesn't want to talk to me."
"Bitch please. If you don't take your ass to her house and talk to her. I will drag you myself." Said Izzy.
"Fine."
"Yes thank you! My Anie ship started to get lonely."
"I just hope nothing bad happens."
"It's not." Kam assured her.

Sophie made her way into the cafeteria to get breakfast. She just got a muffin and some juice and went to sit down at a table. She was by herself too which was exactly what she wanted. Needing to time to think about this afternoon. "Hey Soph!" Her brother called out, snapping her out her trance. Something about the two of them, they were always thinking about something and as they did it blocked out their surroundings.

"What Ry?" She grounded as she opened her muffin and took a bite out of it. Gagging at the way it tasted. Ryan just laughing at her.
"What do you want Ry?"
"Nothing. Can I not just sit here?"
"I actually want to be alone right now, but sure I guess." She rolled her eyes.

Lunch time came around very quickly. Usually she would wait around for Andi but since she wasn't here there was no one she had to wait for. Sophie got her lunch and sat at their usual table. "Where's Andi?" Ashley asked walking up to her table.
"Minding her business." She snarked back. She did not want to do this today. Especially not with her. Ashley nodded and then walked off. She was planning something up her sleeve but if only she could figure it out.

"Alright players!" Her coach called out. Today was moving very fast for the teenager and honestly she hoped it would go just a tinny bit faster. She had plans to do. "This morning was a heavy day, so we're not gonna work as hard today. Someone lead stretches and then work on drills for now."
"Soph lead stretches!" Someone called out. Making her once again go out of her daydream and pay attention. She got on the line and lead the team through stretching and then their drills.

"Come on Sophie snap out of it!" She had just got yelled at because this was the third ball in a row that she missed. Simple drills that don't take a lot of work but yet she was missing everything. "Sophie back at the front!" She sluggishly walked back to the front of the line and got into position. She was then hit the ball. Stopped it this time but overthrew her first baseman. "File pole! If your not gonna actually try to put in the work to fix your mistakes then what's the point of being out here!"

Sophie threw her glove into the ground, out away from others so they wouldn't step on it and then took off running. Pretty much half way through the run she ended up in slight tears but had to quickly stop them before getting back up to the front with the team. One rule in softball was that you don't cry. Unless you just got hit with ball, but half of the time you don't cry from that.

When she got back to the line, her coach made her do it again and this time she did everything perfectly. But why was she messing up everything? Was it stress? Most likely, but from what?

Sophie walked into the house and went straight up to her room. Throwing her backpack on the ground and then going to hop into the shower. As soon as she got out, she put on some clothes and made her way downstairs. "Where are you going?" Her mom asked her.
"To Andi's. I'll be back."
"Who's driving you?"
"I didn't think of that. Can you drive me to Andi's?"
"Fine. Are you staying the night?"
"No."
"I'll drive. I have to go to the store anyways."
"Thank you."

Sophie walked up to the front porch and took a deep dreary before knocking on the door. "I'll get it!" She heard from the inside.
"Hel- hi Sophie." Danielle said as she opened the door.
"Hi. Is Andi home?"
"Yea. She's over here."
"Can I talk to her please?"
"Of course sweetheart."

Andi sat up from the couch looking over towards the door. "Hey." She said kind of shyly.
"Hi." Sophie said in the same tone of voice.
"I'll be upstairs."

"So what brings you by?"
"I wanted to talk remember?"
"Oh, yea. My bad. I actually need to talk too."
"Andi, I'm sorry about the way I acted that night. Like you said I don't know what had got into me but it was completely out of hand."

"Why are you apologizing?"

"Because I owe you one."
"You don't owe me anything. If anything I owe you an apology. At the end of the day I was the asshole not you. So you don't need to explain anything. And I'm sorry. For the way I reacted. It was completely uncaused for. I didn't need to yell at you like that. I'm sorry."

"It's alright."

There was a little silence between the two for a minute until Sophie broke it.
"So we good now?"
"Who said we was ever bad?"
"I mean you didn't talk all weekend and then you stayed home from school so I thought you were mad or something."
"If I was mad you would be able to tell. I'm not mad about nothing. Just sometimes you need a break from life."
"Felt that. So i was stressing all day for nothing?"
"Yep."
"Dang it. I had to run file poles at practice today because I kept messing up."

"Oof. My bad."
"Don't worry about it."
"So are you gonna say it?"
"Say what? Ohh. Why don't you say it?"
"I hate saying it first, you know that."
"Your gonna hawt say it first eventually."
"Yea eventually. Not today."
"You sure?"
"Yes. I will say it first one day. Hopefully soon."
"Alright. Take your time."
"Oh I will." She laughed.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
