Chapter 9: Party

It was now Halloween. Not to many people had plans tonight. Andi wanted to have a couple friends over and have a horror movie marathon, while Stef and Danielle took Mason out for trick or treating. Nothing to major. Kamryn, Izzy, Kaylee, and Andi. That was it. That was all she had invited to come over. It had been a while since they had just hung out like this. They used to do this almost every other weekend. Order a pizza, binge watch movies till they fell asleep. Simpler times.

"Hello fellow classmates." Ashley said walking up to the gang as they sat at their usual table before school started. It was also spirt week at school this week and so since today as Halloween they got to dress up. The gang dressed up as their characters in each others phones. Dumb and dumber. But with a little extra touch. They all stopped their conversation and turned their attention to Ashley.

"What?" Kamryn said. You could hear the tone in the back of her voice.
"I just wanted to let you guys know that you are invited to a little party of mine." She pepped. They all looked at each other in confusion.
"Thanks?" Izzy questioned."
"It's tonight at my house. My parents will be there but most likely handing out candy. Feel free to come. Starts at 7." She said and then turned her attention to another few people and walked off.

"Is it sad that I want to go but I don't want to go?" Kaylee said.
"I mean we could go, but I still don't trust her."
"Let's just go and then if we don't like we can leave."
"Wow! Andi wants to go somewhere with Ashley."
"I doubt we won't even stay long."
"You never know."

Just then the bell rung allowing the students to make their way into the school building.

School ended early today so by 1 o'clock Andi was already at home. She decided not to change out of her costume, as she was gonna wear it tonight.
"Roar!" She heard as she was putting away some clothes that needed to be put away. There stood a little mini green dinosaur with blue polka dots. "I get fou sissy!" He said a s ran into her room. Tackling her by wrapping his mini arms around her legs.
"You got me!" She faked out. Just playing along with the boy.
"Yes! But I'm a nofe dinkosaur. I not mean." He stated.
"Oh. So your not here to hurt me?"
"No. Sason nofe dinkosaur."
"Yay. Thank you bubbas."

He smiled and crawled up on her bed. Handing her the clothes so she could put them away. "Thank you."
"Sissy. What is your costume?"
"I'm from a movie."
"Mofie?"
"Mhm. It's a funny movie. Me and my friends are all dressed up like them."
"As fou shofd."
"I...where did you learn that?"
"I don't know." He giggled.
"Mason?"
"Sissy?"
"Who taught you that?"
"Fou!" He giggled and she ran over to give him a little tickle attack. Stoping every once in a while to let him catch his breath.

"Sissy gess what!"
"What?"
"I get candy!"
"Yayy! Are you gonna save me some?"
"Um? Yes! We can share!"
"Yay!"

After that little interaction between the two siblings, they decided to watch a little Halloween cartoon movie while his nanny was preparing his after school snack. Soon enough Danielle came walking through the front door with grocery bags. And some stuff for this afternoon.

"Mama!" The tiny boy jumped off the couch.
"Hi bubba." She said as she placed the bags on the counter.
"Hi Mom!" Andi said as she happily walked over to take a peek into the bags.
"What is this?" She asked holding up, what appears to be a pair of hand cuffs. She gasped. "Stop. I. No need to explain." And then walked away.
"First of all, those are for Mason's costume."
"Sure they are."
"Andi I'm serious."
"Then why did he say he was gonna be a dinosaur?"
"That was his class costume he wore to school today."
"I.."
"Yea."
"Sorry."
"It's fine. Are you guys still doing the movie night thing?"
"No. We got invited to a party."
"Ohh sounds like fun."
"I guess it will."
