Saturday December 18

"You have to let go!"
"Imma fall!"
"No your not! Bean look at me!" Andi held onto the gate railing as she tried to balance herself on the slick ice. That's right you guessed it, they were ice skating at the moment. Of course Drew being from The Big Apple was a semi master at ice skating as she had been going since she was little.

Andi on the other hand, this was around her second time ice skating, EVER! She tried to look up but every time she did it felt like she would fall and break something. Once she mastered the art of finally looking away from the floor, she felt a little proud in herself. "Alright now push yourself away." Drew guided. She was no less than a quarter-inch away from her. Andi pushed off just a little and she felt unstable.

"There you go, you got it." Drew cheered. Andi smiled and maybe got a little too confident in herself, because the next second she found herself on the floor holding the back of her head. Drew quickly rushed over and so did a worker and they both guided the girl away from the floor.

Andi winced in pain as she clutched her head leaned over in between her legs. "Bean you ok?" Drew was on her knees on the floor. "Hey, hey look at me." She guided. Andi sat up and looked at her. Eyes were a tiny bit watery but not sobbing. "You ok?" She asked again. Andi nodded and looked at her hand to make sure she wasn't bleeding from her scar. "Your not bleeding." She assured her. Andi put herself back into that position and Drew rubbed her back to let her know she was there.

To be fair, it wasn't like her doctor said to avoid physical activity but it was highly encourage of her not to do a lot activity or bang her head on the hard cold ice skating floor.

"Wanna go to get some food?" She asked her as she helped her get the skates off. "Sure." Andi said still wincing in pain.
"You sure you're ok bean?"
"Yea I'm fine."
"Bean?" She questioned her.
"Love."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. 100% sure."
"Ok. I love you."
"I love you more."

They both left the arena and was greeted with the mall full of people. Luckily it was an outdoor mall so you got the perfect shine of the sun on the fluff that hadn't melted from the ground yet. They both walked hand in hand with each other. Laughing and talking about any and everything.

"What are you doing for Christmas?" Drew asked as the both of them walking around the candle shop. Sniffing and smelling almost every single candle in the store. "Ummm if all things go accordingly, then we might be up state at the cabin."
"Up state?" She cocked her head around.
"Um yea. Ms. Kathie has a cabin and we've been going up there every Christmas since Danielle came into our family. That was also the first time I've ever met Kaylee. This will also be Mason's first time going up there."

Drew nodded with no response. Just picked up another candle and smelt it, just to put it back. Andi looked at her confused but shrugged it off. "What are you doing?" Andi asked. Drew shook her head. "Nothing. Probably...yea nothing." She chuckled.

Andi felt sad for her lover. She wish there was something that she could do for her. Maybe if it was possible to bring her mom back or if she could visit her best friend in New York, but she couldn't make that happen. She was only an ordinary teenager, she couldn't work miracles.

But there was one thing she could do. She could make this the best Christmas she's had in a while, well definitely not the best but at least make it better than before. She studied the girl closely. Looking at everything she had interest in, but without trying to make it too noticeable. She knew just what to do.

Night quickly approached for the day. It was still only 6 in the afternoon so there was no need in going home just yet. Although the cold wind was making it almost impossible to stay outside. The Christmas lights that were strung around the mall lit brightly. Hot chocolate stands were swarmed with people and young children waited in line to capture pictures with the jolly man.

The two teenagers wondered around the mall a little more. "He is real!" They heard some kid yell. Looking in the direction of the chaos, they both saw a boy younger than them but no older than the girl he was picking on. "No he's not. Santa is a fake phony."
"But he is!" She pleaded. "Santa is real!"
"Keep telling yourself that." He said and then ran off. Leaving the girl to stay there and pout before her mom came over.

"I wanna do that to Mason." Andi chuckled.
"Don't you dare do that!" Drew said and playfully hit her arm.
"It'll be funny!"
"Bean you're gonna hurt him."
"But it'll be funny." She dragged out the sentence.
"No."
"Fine." She groaned and rolled her eyes.

Finally making they're way back home, it was dark but snowing as well. Luckily it was snowing to hard to where they couldn't see. Every once in a while they would throw a couple snowballs at each other. Or push each other to make them fall, or slip on the cold ice that froze over the ground. But of course doing it all with love towards each other.

When they arrived home, the house was empty. There had been no beer cans or bottles left out but the smell was there. Indicating that they drunk but probably left. "At least they cleaned." Drew stated as she went to turn the heat up in the house. "Wanna bake?"
"Bake what?"
"Cookies of course!"
"Sure." They both chuckled.

"One egg, one cup of milk, and-" Drew was interrupted by the cloud of powder that appeared in front of her face. She stood there shocked as to the actions that just happened. The brunette chuckled from afar, snapping pics. Drew rubbed her hand through her locks. The giant pile of powder flowed freely out of her hair. She gasped and grabbed a handful of flour. Andi stepped back with her hand pointed out.

"You can't do that!" She exclaimed. "My head remember." She smirked and pointed. "Can't wash it out." Drew clutched her fist and turned her way back into the kitchen, making Andi tick her tongue out and laugh.

Watching The Christmas Carol while eating ice cream and cookies, cuddled up in each other's was how they ended the night. The air from the wind brushed up against the window making a nice whisper echo the room. This time Drew luckily fell asleep first. Andi shut the computer and sat it aside, along with the empty bowls and fell asleep next to her.
