Sunday December 12th

"There was Mario, they were a pretty good nurse. Very funny and I kinda miss them not gonna lie." She chuckled. "They also let me have extra apple juice and snacks and stuff so that was nice. Lucy was a pretty good nurse too. She kept Mario in line whenever they got sidetracked from the job."

"So all you had was two nurses?"

"Yea."

"That's nice. Wait what did you name your sloth?!"

"Umm..." She blushed deeply making the girl on the other side of the call laugh. "Paisley." Andi mumbled quietly. Drew smiled hard, ear to ear like the grinch, biting her bottom lip in the process. Andi mentality face palmed herself, instantly regretting everything to this moment.
"Your cute. You know that right?"
"Shut up, so are you."

"Debatable." Drew chuckled. "Hey Um bean?" She said nervously. Andi felt her hands get instantly sweaty and her heart raced fast than it ever has before. Not like it has ever raced this fast before when talking to the person on the phone.
"Yea?"
"So you know Friday is our last day of school before winter break and I was thinking, if it's ok with your parents and you, if you wanted to go on a little date thing and then maybe stay the night at my house? Only if you want to of course."

Andi made a frustrating face as she wanted to be the one to ask her to stay the night Friday after school. She leaned back in her chair, hid her face in palms, and groaned loudly. "I wanted to ask you!" She exclaimed making them both laugh loudly.

"I beat you. So?"

"Won't your dad be home?"

"He's not supposed to but we'll be in my room all night and he knows not to go in there so we'll be fine."

"Let me ask really quickly." Andi expressed and then ran out her room and into her parents. Walking in, Mason laid in between the both of them asleep. Dani was next to him asleep as well and Stefania was watching the television that played in front of them. "Hey mom?" She whispered but loud enough to where it was clear what she was saying.

Stefania raised her eyebrows, telling her that she was paying attention to her. "Can I stay the night at Drew's?"
"When?"
"Friday."
"Yea that's fine with me. Just make sure-"
"I get my meds and stuff and don't get my hair wet. I know what to do mom."
"Ok. Well I'm giving you permission to go."
"Thank you. Love you!" She said and ran out the room and back into hers.

"She said yes!" Andi cheered. "But your gonna have to come get me." She pouted. Drew's smile never went away so now she was smile even harder than before. She nodded and the both of them continued to talk and laugh. Andi even got a little school work done, though she did get the answers from Drew, but at least she got it completed.

"Last but not least, we want to thank everyone who participated to make our winter formal a night to remember. From our lovely PTA to our amazing student government. This night couldn't be made without you-" Drew paused from reading her drafts to see the other occupant on the phone fast asleep. She smiled and snapped a couple photos.

"Night Bean. Sleep well. I love you." She whispered before hanging up the call. After being on the phone for quite awhile, the sound of Drew talking and the light rain that trickled down the house, there was no fact about it on how she drifted off peacefully.

Stefania walked in no less than 30 minutes afterwards. She was due to ask the girl if she wanted to help with lunch but instead shut her laptop, moving it to her vanity, and then walked back over to pull the blankets over her before walking out.
