"He's gonna be there, you know?"

We both looked over to see Sam walking our way. Steve nodded and sighed as he hugged me from behind, over my shoulders, "We know."

"Look, whoever he used to be, the guy he is now, I don't think he's the kind you save. He's the kind you stop."

Steve shook his head, "I don't know if I can do that."

I then walked up to the railing, "I won't do it. It's to the end of the line."

"Well, he might not give you a choice. He doesn't know you."

I looked back at him, "He may not recognize Steve, but when we fought him, he wouldn't hurt me. He had his chance in killing me. In more times than one and he didn't. I think that somewhere deep down, he knew it was me. Only now, he might not after everything they're doing to him."

Steve sighed and then stood tall, "Gear up, it's time."

"You gonna wear that?"

"No. If you're gonna fight a war, you gotta wear a uniform."

I smirked knowing exactly what he was doing, and I waved my hand changing into my own gear. He peered at me over his shoulder and met my eyes, "Perfect."

I nodded and soon we found ourselves, heading to the source.

Finding a way in, we made out way to the control room without any problems so far.

I held my breath as Steve picked up the PA phone.

"Attention all SHIELD agents, this is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days, some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth."

He looked over to me and I walked to him, taking his hand in mine, "SHIELD is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The STRIKE and Insight crew are HYDRA as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there."

I nodded as I leaned forward speaking, "If you launch those Helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way, unless we stop them. I know we're asking a lot, but the price of freedom is always high, it always has been, and it's a price we're willing to pay. And if we're the only ones, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet that we're not."

Steve nodded and placed the phone down as I sighed, hugging him before Sam turned to us, "Did you write that down first, or did you both just take it off the top of your head?"

We let out a small chuckle before we shared a look and waited for the signal.

"They're initiating the launch."

I turned to Agent Hill and shook my head as I looked to the screen, "No, no. Steve, wha- what do we do?"

"We go straight to the source."

I nodded as Sam and Steve left the room while I followed behind.

"Hey, Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?"

I smirked as Steve looked back, raising his brow, "If they're shooting at you, they're bad."

"Mhm, okay."

He then deployed his wings and flew off the edge as Steve and I headed down. Landing on the ground, we took out guards and grants before Sam soon flew by us, dodging fire, "Hey, Cap, I found those bad guys you were talking about."

Steve met my eye as I looked over my shoulder, "You okay?"

"I'm not dead yet."

I let out a short laugh before sending some energy blasts towards a group of approaching agents, blasting them back.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I step on your moment?"

I smirked as I overheard the comms, I heard her voice before I chuckled, "Nice one, Nat!"

"Duck!"

I turned to Steve as we both ducked down while Sam flew over us, taking out seven agents all at once. The ships were beginning to take off as Steve and I fought through the yard below.

"Now! Kat, now!"

I nodded and flew up, grabbing Steve's arm as I brought us up to the last ship deploying.

"Here's your stop, Cap!"

"See you on the flipside, Kat."

I gave him a wink and nodded as I flew to one of the other ships, replacing the chip easily, "Chip is good to go. Bravo Lock"

I ran over to the edge of the ship before seeing Steve on the side of his, "Good. Falcon, where are you?"

"I took a detour!"

Flying out to help Sam, I pulled the many ships away from him as he flew over to the last ship.

I dodged the shots and fires only to be grazed slightly.

"Damn it!"

"Language!"

I shook my head as a smile fell across my face, "Shove off, Stripes."

Maneuvering around, I could hear him snickering on the other side, "Sam, I need a ride!"

"Alright, let me know when you're ready."

"I just did!"

I saw Steve jump from the ship and soon I watched as Sam caught him, landing safely on the tarmac. Only seconds later, Steve was knocked back.

I dove for him and using my powers I blasted a barrier around him and soon flew up to catch Sam as he fell from the ship.

As Sam landed safely, I moved Steve towards the side of the ship as I flew back up to the tarmac.

I walked by his side, as we soon came to a stop, facing Bucky.

Steve held his arm over me, as I met Bucky's eyes, while Steve spoke, "Please, don't do this Buck. People are going to die. I can't let that happen."

I grabbed onto Steve's arm and took a step forward searching for his gaze, "Please, Bucky. I can't do this. I can't fight you."

Steve nodded backing me up as I held onto the railing. Then Steve threw his shield.

Deflecting the shield, they began to fighting as I only watched from afar, not wanting to fight him. I fell to my knees as I watched the two closest people in my life, fight each other.

Pulling out a gun, Bucky shot fire and I gasped as Steve was knocked back. I waved my hand and soon he was healed but they only started becoming more hostile towards each other as Bucky pulled out a knife.

"Kat! You have to get the chip! Kat!"

I looked up as they then fell off the side, "No, no no!"

I stood up and watched as Steve ran for the chip he had dropped. They wrestled as I watched, running towards them, "One minute, Stripes!"

Bucky cried out in pain and I could feel everything, everywhere.

Steve, looked up at me and held the chip as I flew up towards the casing, waiting for him.

One by one, Bucky began shooting him, slowing him down.

"Bucky! NO!"

"One minute!"
