Once we landed, I sighed as I stood to leave as Hill walked in, "Lab's all set up, boss."

Tony shook his head and point towards me and Steve, "Uh, actually, they're the boss. Fury left them in charge. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler."

I rolled my eyes as I waited for Steve and Hill. Once we got into the building, Steve got down to business. "What's the word on Strucker?"

"NATO's got him."

"The two enhanced?"

"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special."

Hill showed us an image of the twins and I raised my brow as I looked at them, especially the girl. There was something about her, "Their abilities?"

Hill nodded and turned as we stopped, "He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation."

Steve raised his eyebrow as he glanced at me for translation, I sighed and let out a soft laugh, "He's fast and she's weird, but not too weird because she's like me."

"Ahh. Well, they're going to show up again."

"Agreed. Also, the file says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments. It's nuts."

Steve glanced at me and gave me a knowing look as I got in the elevator as he turned to her, "Right. What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?"

"We're not at war, Captain."

"They are."

She gave a curt nod before the doors soon began to close. Once the doors shut, he sighed and turned to me, "Ready for a party?"

I smirked and then gave him a nod, "Hell yeah."

"Langu- never mind."

The moment the doors opened, I stepped out and turned to the group, "Haha! Stripes, here almost did it again!"

Natasha looked at me confused as I sighed and retold the events as Steve stood behind me, shaking his head, while others simply laughed and joked around.

"Sounds like a hell of a fight, sorry I missed it."

I rolled my eyes as I eyed Sam up and down sarcastically, "You? Sorry for missing a fight?"

Steve nodded as I crossed my arms, "If I had known it was going to be a firefight I absolutely would have called you."

"No, I'm not actually sorry. I'm just trying to sound tough. I'm very happy chasing cold leads on our missing persons case. Avenging is your world. Your world is crazy."

"Well, Sam, at least Steve and I have fun while doing it," I smirked and elbowed Steve playfully before he turned to me and shook his head.

"You are the only one who has fun Kat, no one else."

I looked at him and shrugged before Sam turned to Steve, "Anyway, you find a place in Brooklyn yet?"

"I don't think I can afford a place in Brooklyn."

"Well, home is home, you know?"

I looked at Steve and then shook my head, "You can just come and live with me, you know. I have a big enough place, we don't even have to see each other if you don't want to. But who wouldn't want to see me?"
