20 To The Future

Soon meeting up with Nick, Steve, and Sam. We all stood looking down at the stone marked Nick Fury. I sighed and crossed my arms as Nick looked between all of us.

"So, you've experienced this sort of thing before?"

I smirked as Steve, put his arm around me, "You get used to it."

"It doesn't get easier, but you get used to it."

Nick nodded and then looked down at his grave, "We've been data-mining HYDRA's files. Looks like a lot of rats didn't go down with the ship. I'm headed to Europe tonight, wanted to ask if you'd come."

Looking up, I turned to Steve who gave me knowing look, "There's something we gotta do first."

"How about you, Wilson? Could use a man with your abilities."

"I'm more of a soldier than a spy."

"Alright then," Nick stood forward and shook our hands before turning to leave, as he looked over his shoulder, "Anybody asks for me, tell them they can find me right here."

"You should be honored, that's about as close as he gets to saying thank you."

I snapped my head and looked over before I walked to Natasha as I pulled her in for a hug, "Not going with him?"

"No."

Steve walked up behind me and gave her a smile, "Not staying here?"

"I blew all my covers, I gotta go figure out a new one."

"That might take a while."

I smirked and met her eye, "She's counting on it."

"Hey. That thing you asked for, I called in a few favors from Kiev." She sighed as she handed over a file, 'дело No 17'. I gave her a thankful smiled as she smirked and turned to Steve, "Will you do me a favor? Call that nurse."

"She's not a nurse."

"And you're not a SHIELD agent."

"What was her name again?"

Natasha smiled and looked up, "Sharon. She's nice." She leaned forwards and kissed his cheek before giving me another hug, "Be careful you two. You might not want to pull on that thread."

She motioned to the file before she walked away. I sighed and took the file as I opened it, revealing everything and anything they had on Bucky.

Sam peered over my shoulder, "You're going after him?"

I looked up at him and nodded, "I'm not going to give up on him,"

Steve nodded as I handed him the file, "You don't have to come with us."

He nodded, "I know. So when do we start?"

I let out a chuckle before we turned and walked towards the road.

Wrapping my arms around Steve and Sam, I smirked and pulled us towards the new car on the road, "Get in, boys. We have places to be."

Steve walked around the car as he admired the shiny sheen of the new black car, "Kat, how did you-"

"I've had some extra time between court and saving your life."

"You didn't save my li-"

"I know, Bucky did. He saved us both. But I flew you to the healing room," they both gave me a look before I shook my head, "Sorry, habit, the emergency room."

Laughing, they got in and I soon followed before I drove us to my newest colleague's base. I had been corresponding with Nick Fury and he gave us a new mission.

One we had to start, one we had to assemble.
