Lukes' Pov.

"Thank you L.A!" Calum shouted at the big crowd in front of us. This was our first real concert and it had gone amazing. We all had been nervous from how many people were standing outside waiting for us to play and when we did a success we could finally see something growing. Of course this was not such a big concert as legendary bands or other artists perform but this was big for us. We had finally made it through the diner and clubbing phase. We were ready to take a bigger step out to the world now. L.A was huge.

The crowd roared and we waved at them, talking nonsense and then walked off the stage. I guess the reason it went so well for me today was because I imagined Hope standing in the first row, supporting us like she did at The Diner. When I was too blind to see how perfect she was and not Sarah. I couldn't wait to come home, of course L.A was a blast but I missed Hope, and my mom. I missed the times when me and Hope sit together in her room and just talk about nonsense. I've only been gone for six days but being away from someone you love even a day feels like eternity.

"Good job!" Ashton said, while we were backstage, patting me on the back.

"You rocked those drums, Ash." I responded, smiling to him.

"Well, what can I say?" he smiled, shrugging his shoulders then walked over to Calum.

I sat down on a chair and unscrewed the cap of my water bottle, bringing the bottle to my mouth.

"How ya doing? Miss Hope?" Michael said, taking a seat on the chair next to me.

I nodded, "Like hell."

Michael smiled and patted my shoulder, "It's only been a week."

"Yes, but still. Don't you have any girl back home you miss?"

Michael nodded, "I do, and her name is Xbox."

I laughed at the how lonely that sounded and Michael returned my laugh with a playful punch on my arm.

"Ouch! Why did you do that?"

"Don't laugh you asshole."

"We all know Michael is actually cheating on his Xbox with the Nintendo!" Calum joined our conversation.

"What?" Michael said when I looked at him. "What am I suppose to do when it just lies there on my bedside table waiting to be played with? I mean-"

"Oh.." Calum laughed, "Jeez Michael, you really gotta find a new hobby this is getting gross."

Michael rolled his eyes, "I can't wait to get home."

"Yeah so you can rot in your room all by yourself and then have flies eating out your eyeballs."

"I'd rather have that then spending another minute in the same room as you."

"Ouch." I said.

"Shut up, Luke." Calum answered, but he wasn't really angry.
