Sage ! Ziphora screamed at me.
Then I felt like I was in a cage. Like someone put me on timeout .
Ziphora !
No answer .
Ziphora , what -where am I ?
No response.
It was pitch black where I was , no one answered me I was just lost.
****Ziphora P.O.V ****
I pushed my way past Sage . I surfaced and placed her in the place she put me while she punished her father.
I was bent down at eye level to the Lacey woman.
" I am truly sorry , for what she has done. Sage cannot see past her rage , which is why she must leave. "
She looked at me in shock .
" But if you ever insult her again , I will come back and kill you. Am I understood ? "
She nodded her head in fear , not able finding her voice .
" Good ." I stood up and walked over to the bloodsucker and Samantha.
" I am Ziphora . "
They looked at me taken back , not sure what to say .
" Pack the car , I will be back . "
Sam opened her mouth to protest but the bloodsucker stopped her .
I made my way towards the front door and left the house . I broke out into a full sprint , headed towards the Alphas house.
Once I made it to his house my heart began to beat faster , u was about to knock on the door when it was yanked open .
My mate standing before me , angry and confused .
His blue eyes widened in shock as he stared at me . Then they turned pitch black .
" Ziphora .." James said.
" James .." I said .
" You've made it clear , that you don't want me . Just leave , I'll stop pressuring the boy . But this doesn't make things easier. "
" I am not here for you , I am here for the Alpha . " I stated coldly.
He growled . " I am an Alpha ."
" But not the one I am searching for. "
He growled and stepped aside . Once I was in the house , he led me to Will's office .
He opened the door and left . Will was sitting behind his desk , working on papers.
He looked up , " What can I help you with Sa-".
I cut him off , " My name is Ziphora , I am Sage's wolf . "
" What do you need ? " he asked .
" I need you to let Sage out of the pack . "
" Why would I do that ? " he asked crossing his hands.
" Because I asked politely." I said .
" Well seeing how she is my brother's mate , I can't ."
I growled .
"Watch it , I am still your alpha."
"I'm sorry alpha."
"Being here , hurts her. She fights being with him. She refuses to let him in because of the whole immorality concept . " I said. " The goddess told me to protect her, but I any of if want James . It only hurts us both. "
