"Alright, Minji. I know this probably isn't something you're going to enjoy, but we need to talk about what those boys did to you." Taeyong said carefully as Minji took her seat across from him, Haechan gently gripping her hand at her side.
It had been about a week since Minji and Haechan's talk. They'd all decided not to try the fight trigger again and give Minji a full break from all of the mental stress. In the meantime, Haechan had made good on his word to stop running and went back to spending all his time with her.
Even though it hurt to know that she didn't remember all their inside jokes or couple quirks, she was right that she was the same girl, and he only fell for her more and more. Minji was feeling it too, very easily seeing why she fell for him in the first place as they reconnected and made new memories.
Now they were gathered in Taeyong's office, Haechan gently stoking the back of her hand with his thumb as they faced the leader. Kun, Jaehyun, and Johnny were there too, the six of them all sitting around a table to discuss.
"It's fine, I'll be fine." She said with a sigh, already knowing she's going to have to recount all those painful memories. "So who do you think did this?"
"Stray kids attacked you and did this to you, Minji." Kun answered quietly, her eyes widening.
"No."
"No?"
"No. I-it wasn't Stray Kids, I know them." She said with a shake of her head. "I mean, yes they were there, but they did all they could to try and help me. It wasn't their fault."
"What are you talking about?" Taeyong asked quickly. "Of course it is. It's been them since the start."
"No, it isn't. They're on orders from this man. He's not one of them, but he was the one who hit and cut me. Stray kids never hurt me, they were just there to make sure I didn't leave."
"Well who was this person?" Jaehyun asked, sitting up straighter in his seat.
"I don't know, I-I don't even remember his face. He injected stuff into me, which is I would assume is why my memory is foggy." She said with a shiver, disgust filling her eyes.
"So you're saying that Stray Kids are being forced to do this."
"I think so. There's something going on." She said, her eyes narrowing as she tried to connect the dots in her mind. "Stray Kids aren't totally innocent in all of this since they're still doing the dirty work, but it's not only them."
"Hmm." Taeyong let out a huff as he slumped back in his chair. "This certainly makes things interesting... it seems like we have some work to do."

"So, what do you think Taeyong's plan is?" Sungchan asked as they sat on the mat of the practice room, taking a break from practice.
"Who knows." She mumbled. "All I know is he's gonna hit them hard."
"That's always how Taeyong has been." Jeno said with a nod. "Mess with him and you're fucked for life."
"I just want this done and over with." She grumbled, taking the water bottle Jaemin was offering her. "I just want to move on with my life snd try to get the last of my memories back."
"Oh yeah, speaking of that, how's stuff with Haechan going?" Yangyang asked, all four of the boys sitting up a little straighter out of curiosity.
