The gang was all gathered in the main room, staring at the note that Haechan had brought them after explaining to them what had happened in a panic.

Taeyong let out a shout, slamming his hands on the table with frustration.

"It's been them this whole time!" He yelled, pulling on his hair as he paced around. "I thought we'd been careful but they've been playing us, watching us like predators, god! How could I let this happen?"

"Taeyong, what are you talking about?" Kun asked quickly.

The older boy let out a groan, rolling his eyes as he pulled something out of his pocket and tossed it onto the table. It was a small piece of flattened metal, a perfect circle with an all too familiar logo impresses into it. The same logo left on the note next to the words 'we warned you but now the hunt has ended.'

"Stray Kids. They've been behind everything." Taeyong growled. "Shotaro found that in Minji's pockets after the fire."

Haechan's eyes widened as he picked up the small object.

"They followed us?" He asked in a whisper, seeing Taeyong nod his head gravely. "Minji was right..."

"What?"

"She knew something was off that day, and I didn't listen to her." He said with a tremble in his voice.

"It's not your fault, Haechan." Jaehyun said quickly. "And we're going to fix this."

"We need to do something right now," he said, standing from his seat. "Let's go. Come on, we have to go and kill stray kids."

He began walking to the door but Taeyong quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Don't be reckless, Haechan, hopefully it won't come to that." He said with a warning. "First we need to figure out where they're keeping her. Where is she, Chenle?"

The young boy was rapidly typing on his computer, Jisung looking over his shoulder as they quickly located her.

"Got it. She's at a discreet location in a clump of forest, about 2 hours from here." He said, spinning the screen around to show them her on the map.

"How's she holding up?" Sungchan asked nervously.

Chenle shot him a confused look before Jisung snatched the computer away.

"We haven't put the advanced trackers in the newer members yet..." the youngest boy trailed off as he typed on the computer.

It was a tense few seconds before the computer let out a beep and Jisung's eyes widened in alarm.

"What is it, Sung?" Jeno asked panicked.

The young boy didn't respond, his eyes filled with dread as he spun the screen around for the others to see.

On the screen was a set of her vitals. Her heart rate was through the roof, her body temperature dangerously low and her oxygen levels rapidly decreasing. Something bad was clearly happening to her and it only made the guys even more on edge.

"Taeil. Shotaro. Take a look." Taeyong said quickly, practically tossing the computer to the two medics.

As the pair scanned over the screen, their jaws dropped and their faces paled.

"Taeyong..." Taeil began with a nervous tremble. "If she stays like this for more than a few hours... she could be gone for good."

A heavy silence fell over the room as the boys processed what he had just said. All eyes quickly landed on the leader, who's eyes were tightly screwed shut.

"Taeyong...?" Haechan called out, seeing the older boy slowly open his eyes, a dark glint in them.

"Alright, we leave in five minutes. Get every weapon you can carry. None of them are leaving there alive."

The whole gang sped to the location, using the cover of night to drive through the forest until they were just within the tree line and staring at a dark building where Minji was held. Without the proper time to research the location, none of them had any intel on what they'd be facing once they entered.

Haechan could hear his heartbeat pounding in his ears, the only thoughts in his mind were about Minji and the invisible ticking time bomb that was her rapidly declining health. He felt pure rage knowing that they were hurting her, but he knew he needed to stay calm in order to get this done.

Taeyong paced at the front, thinking hard about their next move as he glared at the building through the darkness.

"I have a plan!" Yangyang quickly piped up, all eyes on him as Taeyong let out a sigh.

"Exploding the whole building is not an option, Yangyang."

"I no longer have a plan."

The leader rolled his eyes, letting out a huff as he pulled out his gun and turned to the rest of the gang.

"Alright everyone" he called out, gathering them around. "We don't know what we're going to be doing once we go in there, but we have to try. Stay with someone at all times, watch your back and kill anyone necessary to get Minji. The second any of you has her, let us know and we all get out ASAP. Understand?"

They all nod at the older boy before turning to face the building again.

"Alright then." Taeyong breathed out. "Let's do this."
