Sungchan and Minji continued to follow Felix down the dark hallway, unable to see anything aside from the blonde-haired boy in front of them. Minji kept one hand on her gun at all times, her other arm protectively linked with Sungchan's as they neared the end.

"Right this way." Felix said, opening a heavy door in front of them.

Minji ducked in, closely followed by Sungchan and Felix. They entered a strange room, a thin beam of light pouring in from the roof, illuminating the center. She could just make out the edges of the room, about five dark tunnels connecting to it which led to god knows where.

There was a chill in the room that sent shivers up her spine, but that wasn't the thing that scared her the most. What was really getting to her was the change she noticed in Felix.

Leading them here, he had been calm. His demeanor relaxed and confident with a steady gaze, but now he was nervous. She could tell he was. His eyes flickered around the room, never staying in one place for more than a few seconds. His breathing became uneven and she saw the tremble in his hands, his whole body tensing up at the slightest sound.

Sungchan must've noticed it too, because she watched him move his hands from his sides to grip onto the gun on his hip instead.

"Felix?" Minji asked quietly.

"Shh." The Australian boy whispered. "Just wait."

She shared a confused glance with Sungchan, her body tensed snd ready for anything. They waited in the silence for a few more minutes until she began to here the sound of footsteps approaching them from one of the tunnels. She couldn't tell which one they were coming from, but from the sounds of it, there were about three people coming.

Soon the footsteps stopped and Minji could hear them breathing. They were just far enough that she couldn't see them, barely within the shadows of the tunnels.

"Leave us, Felix." Boomed and authoritative voice that sent shivers up her spine.

It was familiar, like a distant foggy memory at the back of her mind.

"Wait, what? Felix, you said this was a negotiation for peace?" Minji said, grabbing his arm before he could leave. "Where are the others?"

"This is a negotiation for our peace, Minji." He replied lowly. "Stray Kids won't be an issue for you anymore, I promise."

He flashed her an apologetic look before hurrying out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.

Taeyong flinched as he heard the sound of a door slamming before footsteps began to approach them. He tensed, hoping to see Minji and Sungchan only to be disappointed as Felix emerged.

"Is it done?" Chan asked, pushing off the wall to meet him.

"Yes. He's there." Felix said, shivering at whatever he was talking about as Taeyong nervously looked back and fourth.

"Who's there? Why aren't you with them? What is going on?" He demanded, looking angrily at the two other boys.

They shared a look, uncertainty in their eyes until Chan's phone buzzed. Quickly he pulled it out of his pocket, reading the messages before letting out a sigh of relief.

"Chan?"

"It's Hyunjin. He made it." He said to Felix, seeing the younger boy relax his shoulders. "They're on their way."

"Who's on their way? What the hell is going on?" Taeyong yelled, drawing his gun. "You two better start talking quick."

"Taeyong, we don't want to fight with you, please." Chan said carefully, holding his hands in front of him.

"Then you better tell me what the hell is going on, and where you left Minji and Sungchan."

Chan and Felix shared another nervous look before letting out a deep sigh, the older taking a step forward.

"Taeyong, there's something we need to tell you."

"Who are you?" Minji called into the darkness, forcing her voice to remain stable. "What do you want from us?"

"I think you'll find it's best if you allow me to ask the questions." The voice replied, obviously amused at the power he held.

"Then come out and face us." Sungchan said loudly. "Dont cower in the darkness. If you want to ask us questions, you'll ask us to our faces."

They were met with silence, the pair sharing a nervous look. After a few seconds, they heard a man sigh and the footsteps began approaching. Minji turned, able to pinpoint which tunnel the sound was coming from as the men emerged.

She could see their shadowy figures in the room, but still not their faces.

"Let us see you." Sungchan demanded.

The man in the middle let out a loud laugh, his shoulders rising snd falling with amusement.

"You sure are brave, but very well."

With that, the man stepped into the light. Minji stared at the man, something so familiar about him. When a sly smirk made its way onto his face, she gasped, pain shooting through her head.

Sungchan bent down, quickly checking on Minji as she sank to the ground, clutching her head. She breathed heavily as the pain soon subsided, allowing Sungchan to help her to her feet.

"You okay, Min?" He asked, but she ignored him, her gaze narrowed on the man in front of them.

"You." She breathed lowly, her eyes glaring into his. "it's you."

"Hello, Minji, it's nice to see you again."
