It's a little confusing. More of a mystery in a way. If that's what you are aiming for, then go for it. But the delivery needs some work. It's moving between different time lines so find way to make the transition between timelines smoother.
Content of your book: 9/10
As you mentioned, you were inspired by a book and a series you watched. That gives you more to work with, to make it better into your own. You have a lot of room to make it your own. All the things you think should have turned out a certain way, or "characters" who dies are all in your hands. Get creative with those ideas.
