when they get sunburned/sun poisoning

this is a psa to wear sunscreen this summer! enjoy :D

bokuto

- he's a big fan of being outdoors and loves to go hiking with you

- it's his favorite way to spend quality time with you, especially in the summertime

- while he enjoys getting in the physical activity, he has a few ulterior motives

- one is he gets to see you in tight athletic clothing that makes you look irresistible. he doesn't care if you're sweating bullets or your hair is all messed up, he actually finds you even more attractive oddly enough

- the other comes from his end in which he takes the opportunity to wear a shirt as little as possible, or at least wear a tank top so his arms are bare. shirtless is the preferred method though

- he does it to try to show off and seduce you but also so he can get more sun on his body

- however, you're always telling him to put on sunscreen if he's going shirtless and even offer to help him get places that he can't reach

-he's lowkey convinced that sunscreen doesn't do much but he'll put it on just to humor you

- the one time that you trusted his word of putting on sunscreen seemed to be the wrong choice

- by the time you were done hiking up a mountain, which was directly under the sun, almost his entire back was burnt except for the back of his neck and shoulders

- it was pretty comical, seeming as though he has only rubbed sunscreen to where he could reach on his upper back area

- he acted like he meant to do it that way

- "pssh, this was intentional, babe. my shoulders are already pretty tan so i put more sunscreen there so i could get more sun on my back."

- you point out how red it looks while poking a little at his toned back and asking if it hurts

- and again, he'll act like it's no big deal when really his back aches and feels like he got a huge burn there

- you'll simply agree because you know he'll be complaining later

- he actually makes it until you're back home and he immediately goes into the bedroom and flops down onto the mattress

- you join him shortly after, gently placing a hand on his red back

- you ask him if he's tired and he nods and you tell him that he got too much sun

- *sigh* "i know. it feels like the sun whipped me. will you please put something on it, babe?" he gives you that pouty look as half his face is smashed into the pillow

- you comply and get some aloe lotion to rub on his back, which really pulls the dramatics out of him

- "cold, COLD, cold-- ah. that actually feels nice. yeah, keep rubbing like that."

- once you're done rubbing it all over the affected area, you instruct him to lay there so it dries down on his skin

- "mm-hmm. only if you lay here with me."

- you put the lotion on the bedside table before laying down on your back next to him while asking how he's going to sleep tonight

- he moves closer to you, throwing an arm around your waist as he slowly inches on top of you

- "guess i'll just have to sleep on top of my special pillow here. haha, just kidding, baby. you take such good care of me. i love you! mmwah."

- you're rewarded with many kisses and nuzzles from him
