❥ they have a pretty typical reaction that involves becoming upset, deflated and wanting to leave the function, especially if you're entertaining the attention. it's not that they don't trust you, they know you're just trying to be nice by talking to or dancing with the accused. maybe they haven't admitted to themselves that they love the attention they get from you while in public but it's possible they're just proud to have you by their side. their attitude will warrant a conversation when you get home so they can be reassured that they're the only one you want. they try to stray from conflict when it comes to your happiness but you need them to be happy with you: kuroo, osamu, semi, iwaizumi, sugawara

❥ if someone is bothering you and won't go away, they start off nice and politely tell the person to leave. however, they can become scary if the person is persistent and acts like they didn't hear what was said to them. they're not the ones to threaten or start anything but there have been times where they've had to stand their ground to protect you when you're obviously uncomfortable with the situation. usually the other person steps off once they've realized the severity and won't evoke a physical fight. they don't mind reaching that level if it means you feel safe and they get rewarded with your hugs and kisses: akaashi, daichi, yamaguchi, kita, yaku

❥ they either want to fight no questions asked or they'll sit and sulk for the rest of the night. it depends on the situation and while you've told them not to get into any fights, they'll make sure the perpetrator knows what they're really dealing with. that option is usually their go-to as they're easily riled up and hot headed at times. however, if you're allowing it, they'll allow their underlying insecurities to surface as they watch you smile with someone else. they don't blame you or the other person exactly...but maybe it is your fault for being so cute and gorgeous. your punishment usually involves a fine of 100 kisses and endless holdy time: bokuto, atsumu, kageyama, goshiki, nishinoya

❥ no matter who it is, they'll probably embarrass the hell out of them. if there's one thing they know best, that you know best in fact, is being an antagonistic smart ass. snide remarks about their motives and persistence always do the trick, they really know how to bruise an ego. however, if they think it's someone that they really can't mess with, they won't put in a ton of effort, remembering to protect themselves as well. you always tell them that they're sure to get in a fight one day and they'll either deny it or tell you that's your cue to protect them: kenma, suna, tendo, oikawa
