- he's more used to you wanting to hug him and he will never decline a hug from you

- however, there was one time when it felt like you weren't being as affectionate with him

- it made him wonder if he had done something wrong but it didn't look like you were mad at him

- but sometimes you're just busy and he'll get overwhelming feelings of missing you if he goes a few days or even sometimes a day without seeing you and holding you

- quality time is important to him but he doesn't want to bother you so he ends up sulking a little until you're done

- but then he's more put off about it and doesn't want to be grumpy around you but he also doesn't want to make you guess what's wrong

- so he comes up with a new solution and he'll try to get at least one hug in when he first sees you

- he'll practically wait by the door for you to come home just so he can greet you and get his hug

- he'll start off by greeting you and giving you a sweet kiss and keeping a hand on your shoulder as you take off your shoes

- then once your attention is more on him as he starts to play with your hair, he takes the opportunity to ask

- "can i have a hug, lovely?"

- and you deliver a good one with your head snug in his shoulder or neck or on his chest

- you always tell him how good he smells but nothing compares to your lovely scent

- sometimes you'll be in more of a rush to do something as soon as you get home and unless it's going to the bathroom, he'll keep you there a little longer

- "hang on, babe. just stay here with me for a few minutes." and he'll sway you gently back and forth to get you to relax a little more

- then you're reminded that he's truly the love of your life

- he's usually the one asking you for hugs :')

- you used to do it a lot when you first started dating because you didn't want to cross any boundaries

- and the one day he just, "you don't need to ask me, sweetheart. you know i love your hugs."

- so now you just do it when you want to and he LOVES it. like, number one way to make his heart melt

- he especially loves when you are in a needy and snuggly mood and you just melt right into his arms

- he could literally die happy in those moments

- but for some reason, he feels the need to ask to hug you, even though he's said that you never have to ask and you've returned that sentiment to him

- your relationship is well established at this point and he still asks you if he can hug you or, "can i have a hug?"

- it's wild for others to see because he can get serious when he needs to be

- suga and asahi often point out that you've made him soft or that he 'simps' hard for you
