- he loves being physically close to you and just feeling you against him

- he's very much known for being affectionate with you by his friends and family

- he's always close to you or touching you in some way

- it's not always suggestive or sensual either, sometimes he'll just give you little pats on the arm or shoulder

- he just wants you to know that he's there

- he doesn't care if he's made fun of for it as long as you want him close to you or touching you

- that being said, head scratches aren't out of the equation

- he likes the way you close your eyes as he runs his hand over your head, reveling in the sensation of his fingertips lightly touching your scalp

- he sometimes likes to tease you, "you like that, don't you?" as he watches your cute face turn content when he begins touching your head

- his favorite situation with head scratches is when you're sitting in front of him and he's brushing back your hair as he looks at you, looks all around you, and admires you

- he does this for a couple of minutes, pushing everything back behind your shoulders before leaning in to kiss you

- anything to do with physical intimacy falls under uncharted territory for him

- it took him a while to allow even you to be physically closer to him, let alone touch him

- as soon as he discovered the magical sense of enjoyment that he experiences from you touching him, he can't get enough

- even the simplest touches, such as you pulling a stray hair off of his sweater, make him melt into you

- the only thing he doesn't like is when you try to tease him about liking it because it only makes him blush harder

- despite his admitted enjoyment of your affections, he often wonders if he should be reciprocating the gesture

- he one day decides to stop wondering and actually act on his thoughts as you always tell him that he wouldn't be breaking any boundaries

- as you sit next to him on the couch, he looks over to you before reaching his hand over and brushing the side of your head

- he's usually on the receiving end of head scratches from you, they're his favorite

- his mannerisms resemble those of a cat, especially when receiving affection or when he feels like you're not giving him enough attention

- he likes to lean his head into your shoulder, nudge you with his forehead if you're not looking at him

- sometimes he'll even take your hand, guiding it to sit on his head, signaling for you to do your thing with his hair

- he's somewhat dense about giving you affection

- it's not that he doesn't touch you at all; he'll hold your hand, hug you, kiss you

- but he doesn't really offer much in a casual, nonchalant context

- so you decide to use his own moves against him, nudging him with your head or sitting in his lap while he's playing his games

- it definitely annoys him at first but he slowly realizes what you're doing and that you're just his super cute s/o who wants a little attention

- thus, the start of him enjoying the cuddles he gets when he rubs and scratches your head begins
