"If you look at what you have in life, you'll always have more. If you look at what you don't have in life, you'll never have enough."

As I pull into my childhood home's driveway, I can't help but feel the chill crawl up my neck. Not because I was afraid but because of the memories that came with the house. The memories of my mom, dad, brothers, and sisters.

I put the car in park, and the door flew open. My younger brother and sister come rushing out to me. I get out of the vehicle. Violet throws her arms around me, as well as Nathan.

"Wow, what's up, guys?" I ask. They still hold onto me tightly.

"We have had to deal with them for two days, Alex. Two whole fucking days." They let go of me and gave me concerned looks. "I don't know how much more I could have survived if you weren't here."

"Well, it's a good thing I'm here now, right?" They nod rapidly. "Just let me get my suitcase." They watched me get my suitcase. Nathan grabbed it from my grasp as soon as it hit the floor, and Violet grabbed my toiletries before I could even go for them. "Okay then."

Nathan heads in before Violet and me. I feel Violet interlock our fingers together before she pulls me with her. I felt terrible that I couldn't come earlier, but with the movers having to go to my place while I was not there to move my stuff, I had to ask my assistant to be there while they were there.

We entered the house, and both of them set down my things at the entrance before turning to look at me once again. "You both are in a rush, aren't you?"

"Well, with siblings like ours, I don't blame them." A third party enters the conversation. I look over to see my younger brother. "You look well, Alex."

I smile and walk to him with open arms. "It's so good to see you, Kai." I rub my hand on his back before pulling away. "How have you been?"

"I've been good. I am just getting my life together now that I am a graduate. What about you? I've seen your stats. You are doing good in the family business."

"When you work with a bunch of men who can be persuaded by a tight shirt and boobs, it comes a bit easier," I say sarcastically and wink at him.

"Ahh, well-done sister."

"Yes, well done, sister. You managed to sex your way to the top." I was hoping to go a little longer without seeing her.

"Hello to you too, Elizabeth." She comes into the room with my other older brothers following. "I must ask how is that husband of yours. Is he still alive?" I hear the twins snicker behind me while Elizabeth looks furious.

"My god, Elizabeth, do you not know how to take a joke?" Maliki scoffs. "It's not our fault you married a man who is old enough to be your dad."

"Now, now, children, let's not bully Liz, or else she will be the one to go down from high blood pressure." Oliver makes his presence known with a British accent.
