"Do all the good you can, for all the people you can, in all the ways you can, as long as you can."Alexandria Wright
"Alexandria, do you have anything to say about the new allegations that have risen after your father's death?!" a report shoves his recorder into my face.
"Did you know what was going on?"
"How could you and your siblings not have known?"
I try pushing through the waves of people but it begins to get too hard for me. Reporters are screaming at me to tell them if I knew what had been going on, Men with big cameras trying to get my picture.
"Please leave me alone. I don't know what you're talking about." I am frustrated, wanting to do nothing but cry.
"Okay get back all of you." A male voice yells out and finally, the yelling from all the people around me calms down. "Hey, are you alright?" I look up and I see a blond man giving me a sad look. I don't answer, I just shake my head no.
"Okay, I'm gonna take you into my shop. They won't be able to go in there, is that alright?" I nod my head urgently. He wraps his arm around my shoulders.
But the flashes and the yells start up again and we try to make our way out of the crowd. I don't know where we are going. All I know is I'll do anything to get out of this. I had come to the shop alone so none of my family was there to help me. It was one against fifty from the looks of it.
It's not much longer until I am brought into a building and the man lets go of me letting me walk in further but he turns back around to the door.
"This is private property now get the hell out of here or I'll call the cops to deal with you." He slams the door, locking it. But yet I can still hear them shouting for me.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath.
I had seen what they were talking about but it was only a moment before I was mobbed that I realized people were going to be looking for me because my face along with my older siblings were on the cover of the articles.
"Are you okay?" I open my eyes and look at the stranger.
"Yeah." I laugh lightly. "That's just what my life has become in the past three months." His eyes fill with sorrow. "Thank you so much for helping me."
"You don't have to take me. Those were a bunch of grown men acting like children." He scoffs. "I'm Jack. I assume you are Alexandria."
"Yep. I went from living in the shadows to being front cover." This time I am the one scoffing
"That must be tough." Jack walk's over to his table that was sitting in the middle of the room. "You got any other family that can help you calm all that," He motions to the door. "Down so it's not so bad?" I noticed he started clearing off the space.
