"Nathan the doctor told you that you are not supposed to be up and doing things." I sternly tell my younger brother.

"Yeah well him staying in his bed doesn't help either Alex." Violet snaps at me holding Nathans's arm helping him walk.

Nathan has been out of the hospital for four days. Since the moment we got home, there was something off with the both of them. Violet is so much colder than she was before. When I talk to her she answers with short answers. She has been going to her cheer events with her friends instead of having me drop her off.

Hunter has noticed the shift in behavior as well. He told me just to let her have her space. That she is just going through a rough patch considering her twin nearly died.

"Violet, there is no need to be such an ass," Elizabeth replies, scolding our sister.

"Whatever." Violet dismisses the both of us. Keeping her focus on Nathan. They both disappear into the living room.

"Man, she has been a real bitchy lately." Elizabeth fixes the jewels on Violet's bow for the game today.

"I know. Hunter just told me to leave her be for the time being." I sighed sitting on a stool by the counter. "I just want to know what made her upset."

"She's a teenager. What isn't going to make her upset?" She hisses, bringing her finger up her mouth. "Why am I making this if she isn't even going to be grateful for it?"

"Because she is still our sister." Liz rolls her eyes. "You know I had to do this for you and you did it for me. It's only right we keep the tradition alive."

"Yeah well, it doesn't excuse the way she is acting towards us." She insisted, continuing to put the bow together.

Other than the hormones radiating off of Violet everything has been peaceful. Elizabeth and I are getting along much better. I think this was something that we both just knew needed our attention to dismissing any anger we had for each other.

Maliki is still away on his trip; he decided to stay for a few more weeks. Oliver and Cameron stopped by to see Nathan but when they encountered Violet they thought it was best that they leave before things got worse.

"Alex, I'm going out!" Violet yells from the front door. I turn my head to look in her direction.

"Okay, where are you going?"

"Just out with a few friends." I move my lips to respond but am quickly cut off.

"Who are the friends you're going with?" Cameron leans on the door frame of the living room. Violet shifts her eyes over to him, her once soft eyes turn angry.

"None of your business." She spits.

"Well, it is my business when my seventeen-year-old sister is leaving in a car of strangers." He rebuttals, sounding angry
