Alexandria Wright

Today is the day of the funeral.

Elizabeth hasn't talked to any of us and I mean any of us. Nathan said he refuses to apologize because he was just saying what everyone was thinking. I can't blame him for lashing out at her after she was making fun of him and Violet.

Since they were babies Elizabeth wasn't involved with them. She would avoid being anywhere around them. My mom said it was something she would grow out of eventually but as the years went on she just kept pushing them away. After the funeral for my mom, Nathan asked Elizabeth if she could take him to get some food and she told him no and for him to get away from her.

I of course picked up my little brother and took him to get some food. I even helped him get some dessert. I think a part of her now is so disappointed that they don't rely on her the way they do with me but she has no one to blame but herself. My brothers and I would try to include her in doing things that we would do all together and she would always say no. Even Cameron would join in on the fun sometimes.

"Okay since Dad's out for the week and we have the house to ourselves I say we play a little game." Oliver walks into the room carrying one twin on each hip. Oliver comes and stays with us here at the house when our dad goes out for very long business trips. This time he is going to be away for two months.

"What game Oli?" Maliki asks him while the two of us walk into the room without hands full of blankets.

"We are going to play murder mystery. I saw it at the store and I just had to buy it." He throws my baby brother Nathan onto the couch first and then my baby sister. They laugh when they land.

"What a stupid game."

I let the blankets fall out of my hands onto the floor next to the couch. "Liz, why do you have to be so negative?" I ask her to watch her make her way down the steps.

"I'm not Alexandria. I just don't want to play a baby game."

"My name is Alex, not Alexandria Liz."

"No, your name is Alexandria, you just don't want to be called it. But I will use whatever is your birth name." She walks out of my sight into the kitchen.

"Why is Lizzy being a butthead?"

"She's just mad that her crush Liam didn't say yes when she asked him to the movies." I grin satisfied with myself.
