Nightmares. That's what woke Phoebe up. She has been seeing her uncle in her dreams every night. She couldn't seek for help because she was supposed to be compelled. The fact that Katherine compelled her to remember everything that another normal vampire compel her to do. She would cry herself to sleep because she was losing her family because of vampires and that teared her apart that she couldn't help her family in any way.

She starts getting ready for the masquerade party. About two hours later, she finds the perfect outfit.

They were in their father's office. Phoebe was fixing Tyler's tie when their mother came in: "It's already packed out there. You know, we need to keep that door shut. Your father would be very unhappy if i let guests in here." She looked at her children when they stood next to each other. "Oh look at you two. So handsome and beautiful."

"Thanks. You look pretty good too, mom." The twins replied at the same time.

"Oh, a compliment.  I think i'll fall over."

"Listen." Tyler started. "I'm sorry I've been a dick lately. A jerk lately. It's just have you heard from Mason?" he asked. Phoebe froze in her place. She felt guilty that she couldn't tell them but she didn't want to get killed by the 'Save Elena squad.'

"No, i don't think we're going to." Carol shook her head at him. "He's coming. He's going. It's just his way. He's the exact opposite of your father."

The three of them looked at a picture of their parents together, so Phoebe decided to speak up: "We should have canceled this party."

"The whole masquerade theme was his idea." Carol started. "I don't know what it has to do with helping the homeless...but once he made up his mind he could really be a dick. A jerk." She corrected when her children looked at her with a surprised look. "But i loved him. And i know you two did too. It's natural to feel abandoned. I just don't want you two to feel alone."

"Come on, put your mask on." Tyler said.

"Let's just go out there and pretend to have some fun." Phoebe finished the phrase.

"I think i need a cocktail first."

They walk out of the office heading to the party of her nightmares.

She was with Aimee, Sarah, Jennifer, Tyler and Matt having some shots together. When they headed to the party she stayed with Jennifer to gossip a little bit.

They put some music on and started dancing while each one of them is holding a bottle of tequila.

But Jennifer started slapping Phoebe. "Hey hey girl stop it. I don't want to fight you."

Jennifer grabbed a knife and plunged it throw Phoebe's stomach. She didn't know how to react so she grabbed the girl's face and smashed it throw the wall.

She tried to wake her up but nothing happened. She started screaming and went on her knees, when she pulled her head up, her glowing eyes were in contact with Jeremy's eyes.

Her mom came running into the room and Jeremy started explaining what happened. They moved the girl's body and Jeremy took a hold of a sobbing Phoebe. He took her to sit next to Elena who didn't say anything just wrapped her arms around her best friend to give her comfort.

Jeremy went to find Bonnie when Stefan arrived. He asked if she was okay and knelt beside Phoebe. "You okay?" But she shook her head.

"I didn't mean to. I swear. She's dead Stefan. My friend is dead." Stefan pulled her into a hug.

"Come on Phoebe. You can go home with me if you want." Elena suggested.

"Yeah thank you Elena."

When was talking to Jeremy on the phone someone grabbed her from behind. When Phoebe went to help her, another person came and put a wolfsbane serum so she could go to sleep.

And by that, the darkness took over her vision.
