I find it absurd That I always shed tears Over perishables of yesterday. For I see them as memories As if they've already been Written in the skyline above me Out of reach, what's done is done Even though it's nothing, still Even though it's yet to happen. What the world deems as The future is what I deem as The past. It is yet to dawn on me That I've grown to live In battles that are yet to begin.
