Time laced through grains

Seeping through the crystal porcelain
That adorned her searingly worn feet
Were a million moments set in a grain
In sand dunes perched at their highest peak.

The heat was blazing, but she didn't care
For she knew what the horizon had to offer
As she gazed ahead, her feet now bare
And let them sink in the sand's timeless prosper.

She stood up, moved on in a show reflected by light
And let grace seep through the veins of her hand
A plethora of colors, a kaleidoscope so bright
Had her calloused feet leave capsules on land.

Alas, her magic show dissolved out of fear
As shadows ruled, the dunes started to crumble
From her lifeless eyes, she shed a single tear
Standing for her screams, reduced to a mumble.

But the darkness too passed and her embers ignited
While light paved way for her true beauty to show
For this was her canvas, reasons of love invited
Why she performed on sand, we have yet to know.

Moments were built upon radiant, golden dust
Moments stomped on, trampled to their core
Moments her dance saved, in which she'd trust
And moments that left her swaying 'til morn.

She danced in waiting and hope from above
For her savior to take her by the hand
And dance with her to find the love
That's buried in the timeless sand.
