Hymn for the dawn
There is something in the morning awakened of Sunshine Isle that tells me all about just how quickly the sun is going to reach its peak today. It is something torn out of the isle's most sacred heroes' handbooks, words that fed us Shiners through our hearts rather than taking form in bubbles of knowledge in our minds. I could easily say so from the minute I have risen my head from my action-packed slumber that has taken me from autumn forests to winter rivers, for today's morning greeted my jaded eyes with life, keeping themselves warm in the heart of the sky — painted fully with an elegant rosemary and sprinkled with dollops of gold in the clouds.
I, along with the other citizens of the isle, am filled to the brim with positivity upon waking up to dreamy, pink skies, for they would almost always be full of a solid cerulean with wisps of white swirled into them like watercolor. This, of course, feels like trekking down my own road of victory — a well-deserved monument of land after having journeyed through pits of hopelessness and oppression for the longest time.
The blooming canvas from above means a brighter, fiercer sun at its peak at noon.
And that in itself means that a hero of our own is finally coming home.
