Two weeks later
Hazel could barely keep up with the comments flooding through her Instagram live as she sipped on her glass of white wine. She'd been at her own house since she got back from Ghana with Adonis, and she'd just been working extremely hard to make sure that everything was in order. Her business was doing well, all her promo content had been posted on her socials and today she'd had the agents come over to the new house that she fixed up, for a house valuation. It was pretty much ready to be rented out.
She'd been in and out of meetings with PLT regarding her edit, and that also seemed to be going well. Although she was bursting at the seams to tell her followers, she knew that she couldn't, as that would be a breach of contract.
"Hi Oyin. I'm good thank you." Hazel smiled as she continued reading the comments.
"Hi Eniola, hi Desire... Hi everyone." Everyone was in the comments sending their greetings, they were all super excited since it'd been a while since she had gone live. Lord knew that if Hazel didn't have important information, then social media wouldn't be seeing her face.
"Guys... what the hell - why do you need to know where Adonis is, Tracey?" She asked whilst rolling her neck. These girls had a habit of continuously asking about Adonis when he clearly wasn't around. If they wanted to see him so bad, then they should've gone on his Instagram instead.
"Anyway, if you must know, he's working. He's been feeling inspired this this week, so he's just been in the studio a lot." She explained simply.
To tell the truth, since they got back from Ghana, things just hadn't been the same. Adonis had 'forgiven' Hazel, but she still felt like a small part of him wasn't over the situation. She was still blocked on Instagram and they had only seen each other three times in the last two weeks. Each time they saw each other, there was a lack of intimacy, and all they did was have sex.
Hazel really wasn't sure how to go about the situation and it made her nervous for their future. The disconnection between them had been such a bother, that she'd asked her girls for advice on how to deal with the situation at hand. The anxiety of how he'd react if she tried to speak about it made her uncomfortable. What if he took her worries the wrong way? She was sensitive these days, and the last thing she wanted to do was break down in tears in the middle of a serious conversation with him.
"Anyway guys, back to me! So I just wanted to let you guys know what the rest of this year is looking like. We literally have two months left, and a lot of exciting things are happening. Firstly, the music video with both Odeal and myself, will be dropping tonight at eight. I'm in love with the song and also the video, so make sure you guys go show some love when that drops.
"In December, I'll be dropping a few different holiday box sets on my website. So make sure you keep an eye out for them. They'll make good Christmas presents.
"Oh. And a lot of you guys keep asking me if I'll be releasing a vlog for my trip to Ghana. The short answer is yes. I will post it soon. But I haven't even started editing it because I've been really busy, so you guys will get it when you get it." She sipped her wine and looked through the comments for a moment. There was one girl asking about the 'kiss' that IVD decided to drunkenly tell the whole world about. She'd apologised to Hazel since the incident, but it didn't make the situation any less annoying.
"Guys, I'm only gonna address the situation on the boat, one time. Everyone was drunk. Super lit. And then the lady who was taking us around the city, got so drunk, that she came up to Don and just randomly kissed him. That's pretty much all that happened. She was so out of it, that she actually fell down the stairs when we were getting off the boat. I fired her the next morning, and that was it. There was no foul play or cheating." She explained. If she didn't end people's suspicions, it would go on forever and she just couldn't be bothered to deal with it.
