Today was Friday and Adonis was throwing on a black dress shirt, with some checkered cropped dress pants. On his feet were Gucci loafers, and around his wrist was a diamond embedded Rolex watch, complimented by a single diamond encrusted chain around his neck. He had never been one to wear multiple chains at once. He believed that if you wore your jewellery well, then less was more, and it would speak for itself.

Adonis sighed deeply as he looked at his phone once again. It had been three days since he stopped stressing about the whole not replying thing that Hazel had been doing - and he stopped stressing because she literally texted him that very evening, apologising for not getting back to him in good timing. She'd been stressed and swamped with work, and offered to pop into the studio next week to hang out with him. It was the least she could do.

Truthfully, as soon as she'd explained the whole situation to him, he found himself wishing that he gave it more time and that he hadn't made plans for tonight's date with Jade. But since he was a nice guy, he couldn't just cancel on her, it wasn't courteous.

Sending a quick text to Hazel, he allowed his brain to wonder off to the little space he had created for her, in his head. Her lips.

The couple sat together at the square dining table, engaging in light conversation about everything and nothing as they waited for their food to be brought to their table. The workers in this particular restaurant in the Shard were truly giving them an incredible experience, especially with the way they spoke and the atmosphere of the place.

"I'm so glad tonight was made possible. Thank you for taking this time off." Jade smiled sweetly as she gave heavy eye contact to Adonis. She looked stunning tonight, and not even her worst enemy would be able to find something to complain about. She had opted for a champagne coloured satin maxi dress, which drooped at the cleavage slightly. On her feet were clear perspex heels complimented by a brown leather clutch. Her caramel skin tone looked amazing against the champagne colour of the dress, and if Adonis hadn't matured in the last year or so, he definitely would've already had her in a hotel room with her screaming his name.

"No problem darling." He smirked as he shut the menu and put it on the table. The food on the menu honestly wasn't giving him much hope, but he wasn't complaining since Jade had suggested this restaurant after he told her he was bringing her to the Shard. If it was Hazel she would've picked somewhere with better food.

He found himself comparing his date to a date with Hazel which hadn't even happened yet. A small part of him was beginning to feel like he was obsessed with her, and he couldn't figure out why or what was drawing him in. Even right now, sitting face to face with one of the prettiest women he'd ever met, he was thinking about his secondary school crush.
