"YOU MAKE IT POSSIBLE" SPOILERS IN THIS CHAPTER.
If you haven't read it and plan to, I don't recommend reading from this point on.
Thanks! - ZeriAs the week went on I endured way more training than I had since I was 16. Alyssa was the definition of a hard ass, but I guess the possibility of your pack being under attack will do that to a person.
It was Friday, two days before everyone who attended training would be leaving, and tonight there would be a bonfire. There would be a short meeting beforehand to update the rest of the pack on what we knew about the attacks in Colorado. As of now we still only have one man in custody who attacked the leaders from Colorado, and he still wasn't talking. There hasn't been any other attacks but everyone was still on edge about there being another.
After training today I was exhausted and wanted nothing more than to just shower and go to bed, but I knew that now that I was in training for leadership I had to attend the bonfire tonight.
After I finished up in the shower I wrap my body in a towel and do my best to wring out my wet hair. I walked out of the bathroom but almost screamed when I saw Daniel sitting on my bed with his back up against the headboard and his phone in his hands.
"Jesus fucking Christ!" I yell as my back slams against the wall beside the bathroom. My hand shoots up to my chest as I try to calm myself down. "What the fuck are you doing in here?" I question at Daniel who now stares at me with a smirk as he rakes his eyes down my figure.
"You know you have quite the potty mouth." He remarks with a small laugh.
I sigh and shake my head and grip my towel around my chest a little tighter. "Thanks. I get it from my mom."
Daniel looks shocked by my response and shakes his head. "No way. Elise is a saint."
I scoff and shake my head as I walk to my dresser and pull out clothes. "You just haven't spent enough time with her." I say laughing.
I hear Daniel moving around behind me and when I turn around he's only a footstep away from me. My back lightly touches the dresser behind me and I gulp nervously.
"You know you never said why you were in here." I say clutching my clothes to my chest.
Daniel notices my nervous movement and smirks. "Your mom wanted me to tell you something about the bonfire tonight." He says.
"And you couldn't have just waited when you heard me in the shower?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"Well that didn't stop you the other night." He smirks.
I drop my jaw and shake my head. "That's not the same. I was worried."
"Okay well maybe I was worried." He shrugs.
"What on earth would you need to be worried for?"
"I don't know. What if you slipped in the shower." He says with another smirk.
