Daniel and Toby had left by 5am. I felt guilty because he and I had stayed up till almost 3, and I knew he had to have been exhausted.

I was half asleep when he left, I just remember him kissing me goodbye and telling me he'd call me when they made it home which would hopefully be in a couple hours by now.

When I woke up again, it was already 8am, and the rest of my family was up and eating breakfast.

"Morning!" Tara calls happily from the kitchen.

I smile at her and greet everyone before taking a seat on the other side of Maya.

"We we're thinking of going for a run this morning. You up for it?" Maya asks.

I take a spoonful of the cereal I had poured for myself and shrug. Truthfully, I wasn't in the mood. I was already missing Daniel.

"Don't be such a sour puss. You'll see Danny in a few days." Lilith teases as she wipes Anna's face which is dripping with milk.

I stick my tongue out at her and go back to eating.

"Come ooon don't be a baby. Lee's coming too so you won't be a third wheel." Jason offers.

"So if Leah wasn't coming... the two of you would make me feel like a third wheel" I ask.

"Not intentionally!" Maya says resting her hand on my shoulder.

"Assholes" I mutter.

Anna giggles, which catches Lilith attention immediately. "What are you laughing at?" She asks her.

Anna giggles and looks around the room before settling her eyes on Tyler. "That's what Tio Toby calls Tio Ty."

I snort a laugh and cover my mouth when Tyler gives us all a death glare.

"Go for a run. And take that thing with you and leave it at least 20 miles away." Tyler says to me.

"Oh hush! You know she loves you." Lilith says. "Baby say sorry to Tio Tyler." She says.

"But I not the one who call him an asshole" she says.

Lilith sighs and drops the whole thing all together while the rest of us attempt poker faces.

"Your kid has the biggest potty mouth." Jason chuckles.

"So I've heard. I worry about her when she starts school." Lilith groans.

"Well, kids are awful." Tyler shrugs. "If she calls another kid an asshole it's probably the truth." Anna giggles and Lilith reprimands him for saying the word again.

"Okay okay, so are you coming with us or not?" Maya finally asks.

"Come on, or I will be the third wheel" Leah begs.

"Fiiine" I groan. "But I'm exempt from all other strenuous activities till we go home."

"You're a werewolf, it's not like doing any of it is actually hard for you." Tyler teases.

"Doesn't mean I enjoy it." I grumble.

"You're like extra grumpy when Daniel isn't around." Maya teases.

"Shut up"

"Okay ladies let's get a move on." Jason says standing up from his seat.

We undress privately and shift and meet around the front of the cabins all of us in our wolf forms.

Leah is the first to charge, and the three of us follow close behind. I was a bit confused at the direction, we'd never been to this side of the property but it seemed that Leah knew where she was going.
