Alec wiped his face with sleeves and adjusted his hair and walked towards Jace. "Jace Iam here" he said.

Jace turned "where have you been".

"friend called me so I came outside to talk" he said nervously.

"come all are waiting for you" Jace walked front and he followed him.

"where did you go" his mom asked as soon as she seen him. he pointed his back side hall way and shuttered to say something.

"leave it, come guest are waiting for you" she said and taken his hand.

"oh ohh someone is lucky, got really special things" Izzy teased Magnus who is coming from back door. "what do you mean" he asked with question look.

"your makeup smudged must be makeout session, who is that pretty girl" she laughed.

He tapped his face in confusion "it's a boy and he is really hot I must add , now if you excuse me" winked at her and went to washroom, she laughed.

"come on Alec, cut the cake" his mom said tapping his shoulder lightly.

He looked around for Magnus, there is no sign of him "Alec what are you searching for, do you need something" Izzy asked. "cut it" Jace said.

He looked down with disappointment "are you searching for someone grumpy" he listened Magnus voice and saw him beside Mary "no, my loved ones all are here" he said hiding his smile and about to cut "make a wish" Mary said, he closed his eyes.

"who you want to give first piece" asked Izzy, she know very well who it is, it's tradition of their family to express their love of one person and Alec always give to his mother since childhood.

"ofcourse it's me, you love your siblings more right! and iam charming" Jace said with proud smile.

Now he screwed his mom stand right side of him and his siblings other side and another person waiting for his answer in group who confessed his love yesterday like no matter what he love Alec more than anyone or anything in this world.

"Alec it's okay, don't disappoint your brother" Maryse said encouraged him to give to Jace.

"no mom, it's always you" he said, they all clapped and raised their glasses. He turned to see Magnus but he is no where to find.

He quickly opened his phone and started to type message "Magnus I'm so sorry, where are you" he sent.

"don't be I know how much you love your mother but iam pretty upset and I want cake" he read message from Magnus.

He saw typing symbol, he waited and another message showed up "iam waiting at upstairs, come with cake I want to taste it in your mouth, just like how we shared ice cream in past".

He smiled quickly put his phone in back pocket. He took bowl with piece of cake and walked towards stairs "Alec where are you going" Jace shouted behind him, he rolled his eyes and turned "no where".

"okay, mom looking for you, she wants to introduce you with some business partners" Jace said.

"what" he asked.

"just casual talk bro, Isabelle also there, come" he said and dragged Alec.

He quickly messaged Magnus that he can't make it and apologized but Magnus didn't replied, he again sent messages that tomorrow he do anything whatever Magnus says.

"stop using your phone, pay attention" his mom scolded.

After few minutes he saw Magnus came downstairs and went towards bar counter. "excuse me" Alec said and made his way to bar, his mom try to stop him but failed.

Alec sat next to him "if you come here to say sorry" he said sipped his drink "you are forgiven, don't say another word go enjoy yourself".

"Magnus please tomorrow...." his words cutoff "oh please Alec, Iam drunk so don't piss me off" he said putting glass forcefully at counter and turned to see Alec "you well know how my mouth twist fast when I was drunk. I don't want regret what I say next".

Alec nodded and stood up to leave but Magnus grabbed his arm, he turned "do you know what I want do right now. I want to kiss you infront of everyone but I respect your decision and my promise that I given to you".

They had not talk about anything after that, they went home around 1am, everyone exhausted and drunk. Alec dropped his siblings to their room and went to his room, he changed his clothes and layed on bed.

he opened his phone saw message from his love 'I love you ❤️ don't think about anything sleep well, good night my Alexander 😘' he smiled quickly typed 'love you Magnus and iam sorry. sweet dreams' sent and pressed lock bottom, he smiled thinking about everything in the end of day turned into happiness.

he put phone at nightstand, drifted into sleep with happiness he shared with Magnus today.
