Yuri's/Reader's POV
I drummed my fingers against the pole to the beats of the song playing through my earphones as the bus stopped, and the door was creaked open.
I tossed a quick glance at the door, watching as a boy wearing a white hoodie and light washed jeans entered the bus, the sunlight causing a halo on his honey-shaded hair for a mere second, short ones falling over his forehead in flawless formation. He swiped his card before walking down the aisle past me, taking the seat right next to me.
My breath hitched right that moment and I couldn't quite decipher if it was his cherry blossoms scented perfume or it was just him in general. Being unable to resist the urge to look at him up-close, I noticed the beautiful freckles speckled below his deep black eyes and right when they met my coffee orbed ones, the corners of his lips lifted upwards, shooting a smile at me, which I returned, although it did take me a moment to do so. The ride was long enough for my playlist that boomed through my ears to come to an end.
Not that I was waiting to get off though.
Every second that ticked by seemed so peaceful, the iridescent evening sky, tinted with hues of soft lavender fissuring through the foamy sky-puddles one moment, ablaze with fiery orange the next, as the sun set against the horizon. A while later, when the bus was a little away from the library which was my destination, I stretched my hand to press the 'stop' button, but I stopped midway as I noticed the boy beside me was also about to cue the driver.
"Oh, are you getting down here too?"
Holy mother of god.
His voice was deeper than the goddamn pacific ocean.
A sweet smile played on his lips before pressing the button, the bus slowly coming to a stop.
"Yeah, I want to go the library here. They have some really good Mangas. What about you?" I replied.
I didn't stutter, wow.
It was a quite surprising considering how his voice sent shivers down my spine.
He gaped in surprise, saying "Hey, now that's a funny coincidence. I'm going there too! Want to go together?" Gripping onto his bag straps as the bus stopped, I mumbled a hesitant 'sure' before getting down the bus with him, thanking the bus driver.
I am just going to the library with him. I am never going to meet him again anyways, right?

3rd Person POV
The afternoon breeze ruffled his light hair, as he pushed them back into place, unaware of the trance his action put the girl behind him in.
Is it wrong to have the urge of playing with a stranger's hair?
Shaking off her thoughts, she entered the large hall with him, seeing large stacked shelves rowed in symmetry, as the scent of fresh books flowed into their noses, welcoming it with delight.
"It's so peaceful here, isn't it?" The deep-voiced male said smiling at the silent atmosphere ahead, often pierced when the readers leafed through the pages.
Yuri smiled, her heart rate doubling when he did the same but wider, as tiny creases formed between the beautiful brown flakes near his eyes. Glancing at her for a moment before sitting down at a table for two, the string of unspoken understanding threaded between them as she joined him without a second thought.
Hours slipped by, both of them sitting on opposite sides of the table skimmed through the pages in their hands once in a while, with secretive little glances at each other going unnoticed.
Midway reading her manga, she looked up as she saw him resting his head above his left arm, his eyes wandering slowly in a zigzag pattern across the book he was holding with the right one. Her eyes softened as she saw him faintly drift off to sleep. His soft snores were the only sounds playing within their little bubble.
Saying this boy sent tingles rattling Yuri down to the bone would be an understatement. However, she wouldn't admit it, but rather felt embarrassed about feeling such sparks of attraction towards a guy she just met.
She couldn't help it though.
The boy was beyond beautiful. Resting her own head on the table, she found everything so meaninglessly peaceful as she silently gazed his sleeping form.
