"Why are you taking my sausage!" Felix cried out dramatically, the poor sausage being pulled back and forth between him and Jeongin. Jisung being the sweetheart he is, had given everyone the freedom to take whatever snack they want, presenting them the grand buffet by spreading out all the snacks before us.
And that resulted in these two fighting over a chicken snack.
"Naurr my sausage!" Felix whined as Jeongin successfully snatched it from him, munching loudly as he teased Felix. Felix let out a 'hmph' before grabbing a cheese stick and munched on it.
"HAH. My cheese stick is more yummy." Felix held it out trying to tempt Jeongin which wasn't working and he chuckled as Felix did a little dance with his cheese stick.
I stared at Felix in disbelief.
I don't know how does this guy manage to be cute and... hot on the same day.
God, why does it feel sinful to admit that.
My cheeks heated up as I had flashbacks from the kitchen few days ago and the amidst paintball war moment from few hours ago.
We were sitting at a spot far away from all the students and teachers, a small campfire that was lit by Minho as we all enjoyed each other's presence and were having a good time together.
Even the sausage fight will be a precious memory to me.
Seungmin played the guitar, and we all sang along to random classics, with the fire embers withering into the evening sky and I looked around the people around me, even the two I have known for less than a month, and I realised how special our bond is regardless of time and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for these crackheads.
~~~~~~~~
I shuffled for the 99th time as I tried my best to sleep. I sat upright, giving up. We were told to sleep early as we had to wake up at 6 am to go trekking, which made me hate it even more. I looked beside me to see Lia sleeping comfortably.
I wish.
I always envied the people who fall asleep within ten minutes into laying down because lo and behold, myself, who didn't feel the slightest bit of slumber pushing even after two hours.
I slowly crawled my way out of tent, making sure to zip it after. I walked out, admiring the stars that were scattered throughout the night sky with a moon that was a crescent, casting a glow against the surface of the mountain all together.
I sat on the grass, a chill immediately bringing goosebumps throughout my body as the ground felt like ice. I internally cursed myself for not bringing a jacket. Looking down at my hands as I rubbed them together, my eyes fell on the beaded bracelet and my heart picked up its pace. I gazed at every bead and seeing how they were alligned into its perfect position, I let myself finding it so much more beautiful and meaningful to me.
Anyone else would have just bought something.
He made it.
He made efforts.
I couldn't deny my feelings anymore.
And my very serious conversation within my own self about my feelings took off and deja vu happened.
"Hey."
My heart jumped out of my chest again as it almost went rolling down the grass.
